This was as hard to learn as riding a bicycle and similarly hard to forget. It’s been a while now over a month of nearly daily use. I am really enjoying it and use it as a low impact (on joints) aerobic accessory. I often deliberately enhance the workout by bending my knees a bit more than necessary and it turns into a nice intense jog. I was worried the thing would be too loud but I wear headphones with music anyway so it doesn’t bother me. It is a lovely way to segue into a workout habit with something fun and interesting. I haven’t lost much weight but I’m not trying to. I simply wanted to move more while avoiding aggressive people at the gym. Easy to assemble. Takes a little bit to learn. Mastery can take a lifetime.

I only had this exercise device for two days, but within that time, I have decided I love it. Some of the complaints are it is too loud, but I disagree. It has almost no sound at all. It may get louder as it starts to wear out, but for now I only hear a smooth hum. It is easy to use. Put one foot in front of your hips and the other foot at your hip. Sling the ball around and just start rocking back and forth. I got the hang of it in about five minutes, and I was never able to hoola hoop. You can adjust the belt to any size you need, large or tiny. Be careful removing and adding segments because they are made of plastic and the tiny knobs that fit into the hole could break if you force them. Just squeeze the ends together slightly and it will bend enough to fit into the holes. If you break one, there are several extra segments. The ball rolls smoothly around when you get the hang of it. My heart rate actually got up a little and I could tell I was using my calfs, thighs, buttocks, and abdomen muscles. I would compare the workout to moderate dancing. It actually is fun so I anticipate this is something I will use, especially during the winter months when I don't get out as much. At this point I would purchase this again. I will add to this review if anything changes my opinion in the future.

Once I watched a couple of videos and realized I was putting the hoop too high, I was able to get it going and keep it going. I started with it around my waist and could NOT keep it going. But I'm short-waisted. And I had to lengthen the cord. Once I did that, I got it going the first time. Also, make sure your shirt doesn't bunch up into it. (That started happening to me and I was wondering what was going on.) Make sure it fits you snugly and can't bounce around. Pros: Inexpensive. Reasonably quiet compared to videos I saw of more expensive ones. Easy to use and add/remove links. Cons: No designated "latch" link like some models have. Not a big deal, though. Also, the cord on this one disappears into the ball, integrated with it. So if the cord breaks, I'm screwed. Would prefer to have one with a carabiner or something on the end that you can clip onto the ball. But For the price I paid, it's a minor issue. I'm looking forward to using this. I did it for nearly 30 minutes the first time, taking a few breaks here and there. Not hard on my back. And also I have fibromyalgia and arthritis, and it didn't cause me any pain that way. I stood there doing it and watching TV and having my coffee, so instead of scrolling my phone I was actually exercising. I'm cautiously optimistic this is something I can easily integrate into my routine and keep up with.

I like this one . 100 percent noise free. So that means you won't be called annoying. It's so cool. The one I had before this sounded like a damn tractor. I couldn't use as much. Cause it was so loud and annoying. im glad this one worked out well. I did have one small problem the weighted ball got untied and fell off the track wheels so I ordered a replacement and sent the other back. All worked out well . Best purchase ever. Hoop is effective and works. Plus you'll lose midsection weight clothes will start to fit better. You'll feel confident and strong when choosing this. You'll love it I promise

So I got this to try it. That’s why I bought one that was less expensive. I figured if it’s not what I want I will return it. First: It came earlier than it said. That’s a plus. Second: It’s not that loud. I have watched videos and they’re more noisy than this. Third: It is going to take time to learn. Fourth: It is easy to put together, but I had a hard time taking it apart squeezing the pieces. It is plastic but it is sturdy. Which surprised me. In all fairness I do have RA. The weight feels good. I was worried about it not fitting. I am 5’4” and weigh 295. I had three or four pieces left. I am not good at getting it to go around. But I just got it today. HOWEVER: I ordered RED and got BLUE. Even though the box says red. That is why it got 3 stars. Update I have learned to make it go around for 8 minutes at a time. The key is you can’t go slow. Still hate that it is BLUE. I wish I would have gotten what I ordered.

I'm 5'7" 222lbs and I use 24 links. The feet don't hurt me, it's sooooo quiet compared to the other brand I tried and the price was reasonable considering. The pegs that hold the links are long and thick so less chance of breaking. The weight is adequate but I found I needed to shorten the line to get a steady whip going. The colors are awesome too. Would recommend and buy again. Easy to use and put together. Doesn't stick or catch when it goes around probably because of the rubberized wheels.

The weighted hula hoop is decent and gives a good workout, but I found it a bit tricky to assemble and keep balanced at first. The size is good for plus sizes, and the detachable feature is handy, but the hoop can slip or wobble during longer sessions. It’s okay overall, just not as smooth as I hoped.

Easy to put together, so easy & comfortable to use, absolutely no noise from this, the weighted ball runs really smoothly. broke my wrist a few years ago so there is a weakness in my right wrist but for me this was easy to remove. Glad I purchased this item.
