I buy a LOT of stuff off Amazon. I rarely write reviews.... This has to be in my top 3-5 best items I bought this year, easily. It is pricey but totally worth it. I live near Houston, Texas so it is like Satan's waiting room outside at least 8-9 months of the year. I bought this for my patio because I am outside with my 3 dogs most of the day. It is abysmal outside, and you really can't be out longer than 10 mins at a time. Well with this mister fan, it has made such a difference in how long I can tolerate the heat. Even if you just use water and no ice it makes a huge difference. I will say you have to get it the right distance from you, so you aren't wet, but you still feel the mist. When I am out with their pool I don't care if it gets me a little wet, it feels so good. You can put ice in the bucket, and it makes it even cooler. I'd say the bucket is about the size of a home shredder. It holds quite a bit of water, and the water lasts a LONG time in the bucket. This fan saved me during Hurricane Beryl. No one was expecting the power to go out and it did....for days and days. At night I used this fan (fully charged prior) by my bed on a small table to blow air on me and the dogs so we could sleep. It was so hot in the house, and I used the fan without the mister function and on low and the fan lasted over 8 hours while we slept. Having some fan all night was the only way we could sleep in the heat. (I since learned my lesson and bought a portable AC unit) but this fan is amazing. I use it daily. It truly makes a huge difference in the temperature of your skin. If you are still reading this...buy it!!! I had a smaller one that sits on the table, and it died within 1 month. this one is still going strong. If the mister isn't working on 1 of the 3 ports you just tap it, and it starts working again. I use tap water in it too, so I'd probably suggest using distilled, so the misters don't get clogged but mine still work after months of using tap water.

I bought one of these to use in my chicken coop, as the summers here regularly get over 115° and the birds get so hot. I normally run a mister on the hose but wanted to try something different this year. These fans are PERFECT for the chicken coop! The battery lasts forever, all day, no problem. Easy to move around as needed, and no need to raise my water bill $50+ a month May-October every year running the hose constantly. The chickens love it. They stand in front of it to cool off and it does cool the air around it significantly. I ordered another one for the other coop, and am so happy with it I ordered two more so I can cool more of the area. If you’re looking for an easy way to cool your chicken coops during the stiflingly hot Arizona valley summers, this fan is well worth the investment. The fan can also be ran without the misting function and has a good air flow.

This thing is absolutely amazing! My fiancé and I went to the beach yesterday and were out in the sun for about four hours. I filled the water storage tank about 3/4 of the way to the top. I kept it upright in our vehicle from point A to point B. We may have possibly lost a quarter of a cup worth of water due to bumps on the road and splashing, but it was in the trunk and can’t verify the amount. The fan does lock in place on top of the water storage tank. But it wasn’t much either way. I was sitting under a 6 x 6 canopy with this fan unit sitting in a portable beach wagon To give it some height instead of it sitting on the ground. It was the perfect height, while sitting in a lawn chair with the mist blowing on me. When I first turned it on, I thought the mist hitting your skin or clothing would make you damp or wet. That didn’t happen. It was just enough for it to feel comfortable. I don’t know if it suggest this in the directions, but I took some ice packs from my freezer and put them in the storage tank to make the water cold as it spray through the air. It was at least 95° out with high humidity and I was very comfortable. I had one battery operated fan clipped to my chair on my left and on my right was this misting fan. The operation of it is very quiet, I couldn’t believe after four hours the tank was still at least half full, and I had to dump out the remaining water, Battery Life was still at full, and the mist action worked great the entire time. The only negative thing I could say, which has nothing to do with the unit itself is that the distance of the spray isn’t that far. I would say maybe one to 2 feet. Also, the wind plays a big factor. I think it’s a great deal for the money! Whenever I go to any outdoor event, this will definitely be with me.

So this unit is great for one person in 100 or less dry degrees and no breeze. It runs a long time on a single charge, puts out a fine mist and is small, quite small which is why I say it is for one person only. At a distance beyond 4 feet the impact is minimal. So, know that it is small and has limitations but it will run long on a single charge, uses a small amount of water and is effective to a point.

I tour with a DIY metal band and we purchased this for our merch tent during summer festivals. The unit itself is easy to use with effective "as-expected" output and intuitive design. Battery powered: yes, charge with included USB charging cable (block was not included, but I had a few) Cooling operation: yes, I fill with ice water on a 94F degree day, which made the area survivable. Portability: the unit (after usage) folds in on itself. Note: make sure liquid reservoir is dry prior storage. Fan speed: the unit had multiple fan speeds and worked well for our application. The speed adjustment is a simply selection button, which adjusts fan speed per push. Cycle: We used the unit for the entire afternoon into the early evening (approximately 4-5 hours) with nominal operation.

Love this thing!! Have only used it a few times and once was for an extended period. It does exactly what it says it will and it’s great to have on a hot day. You will get wet from the mist and the fan works great.

Fast shipping and delivery! It’s light weighted, and good portable size that is ease of use at any corners for home as well. Mists blowing is adjustable and powerful than expected. Like the design in details that keeps users in mind. Great product!

Mister Fan for 96 degree camping trip: This fan worked great for us. It didn't go through as much water as I expected, and we didn't have an issue with the battery power, it seems to last forever. The entire unit is a little smaller in person than I thought from the pictures. It works best aimed directly at one person, it didn't seem to help our group of four, as the mist dispersed in the wind too quickly. We took turns with it aimed at each of us, and it did offer comfort to the person who had it aimed at them. I like that the fan is easy to move around and could be brought into the tent and run with or without water, or the fan used separately from the bucket and hung up inside. I heard others say the misting holes would get clogged up with use, and I believe that. The mister holes are very tiny, so I made sure to use very clean water in the bucket. I imagine that any dust/dirt in the bucket might cause problems clogging those tiny holes, and probably hard water deposits ruin them at some point as well, unless you get distilled water for the unit. All in all it was a good purchase for me, I will use it at home on the patio on hot days.
