Cetaphil Rough & Bumpy Cream, 20% Urea, Gently Exfoliates, 8oz

I've been dealing with eczema on various parts of my body since I was a teenager. Different products have worked for different flare ups, and right now urea is helping the most. I've been using this 20% urea cream as an occlusive layer to seal in hyaluronic acid under my socks, at bedtime. It's made a big difference in general dryness and flakiness, especially when used after an exfoliating bath or shower. The 8oz tube is plenty big and seems that it'll last a long time. Now I just need to decant into a smaller bottle so I can easily travel with it! I would buy again, and likely will in a few months when I've used more.

Pro tip: apply Vaseline over this once it's dried Pro Tip 2: use on feet that have been freshly soaked. Then dry feet, then apply. I really enjoyed this. I have been using amlactin 15% lactic acid on my feet and the rough and bumpy skin on my legs, and it does work, it's okay, but nothing compares to urea. It's an ingredient I'm not familiar with, but I have very dry skin, I have eczema, and this stuff softens my hard calluses like nothing else! Cetaphil really hit it out of the ballpark with this formula, it's very cosmetically elegant for a 20% urea moisturizer, the consistency is that of a light lotion, it spreads super easily, not thick or glue like. I also love this on my elbows. I don't enjoy it on my hands however, urea once it dries down kind of makes your skin feel a little rubbery, like a rubber eraser.

Its nice, just don’t use it when you shave because it stings, its moisturizing and doesn’t feel greasy, super good for feet and heels

Not what I expected from Cetaphil . I’ve been using it for about 2 months and it doesn’t really clear up the bumps plus it remains tacky on your skin no matter how much you rub it in. Disappointed in this facial product from Cetaphil simply because their skin products are usually very reliable and work well. 😟

I’ve been using this for rough and bumpy skin and I actually really like it so far. It’s lightweight, absorbs well, and doesn’t feel greasy or heavy. I’ve definitely noticed my skin feels smoother and more comfortable, even though I know it’s still a work in progress. The bumps aren’t magically gone overnight, but there’s a clear improvement in texture, and my skin just feels healthier overall. No irritation, no burning, which I really appreciate. Also, urea is AMAZING. If you know, you know. It makes such a difference for rough skin. I’ll keep using it because it’s helping, even if results take time. A solid product if you’re dealing with texture and want something gentle but effective.

This cream makes my skin very smooth, clear out the bumps! It doesnt have that "urea" smell , which i love the most. It moisturizes the skin but doesn't leave any stickiness.

I use this on my KP and my legs to help reduce the strawberry leg appearance it works great! I use it in combination with glycolic acid as well. The only downside is if you use too much it sometimes flakes off.

I’m still on the fence about this one. When applied liberally it does make a noticeable difference in my KP, and it’s cheap enough that I don’t mind using a lot at a time. It’s not greasy, dries down matte. But then it has a habit of pilling once fully dry. Feels a bit chalky. If I put my clothes over the skin that’s been just lotioned, I don’t notice it, and it seems to protect my legs from my scrubs (polyester really irritates my skin). Overall, it works to calm down and smooth KP, helps with dry skin itchiness, but I wouldn’t say my skin feels hydrated after using this product and it does leave a strange chalky finish. Try it out, you might like it.

The lotion is a great product, just don’t buy it in the summer, I received the product completely melted.
