Must-have upgrade for the Ascent-18
Great upgrade — no more popping off or breaking I bought these INJORA stainless steel center drive shafts for my Redcat Ascent-18 to replace the stock plastic one that kept breaking and popping off during runs. Huge improvement. The fit was spot on, install was easy, and they feel way more durable than the factory part. After swapping them in, I haven’t had any issues with the shaft coming loose, even when crawling hard. If you’re tired of the plastic one failing, this is a must-have upgrade. If you want, tell me how long you’ve been running them and I’ll tailor it to sound even more “verified buyer / real-world tested.”

Good upgrade over plastic, great brand
Not to bad of an install, way better than the stock plastic. I have not hand any problems with Injora driveshafts.

(Update) Front driveshaft did not fit.
The rear driveshaft fit perfectly and looks great. The front driveshaft where it connects to the front differential is way too tight and can't be put on. All the other points of connection are snug and perfect, but because of the front differential connection, I can't install the front driveshaft. Your mileage may vary, I probably got from a bad batch. It's a shame because the rear was perfect. (Update) Originally 2 stars, changed to 5. They resent a driveshaft for me. It fits perfectly now. Their customer service was very helpful and easy to work with. I think Injora is a good brand

A must have upgrade.
A must have upgrade for a Redcat Ascent 18. The stock driveshafts kept popping off. These are solid and handle the abuse of little kids. Haven’t had a driveshaft issue since I installed them.

Bad fitment, flawed manufacturing
I bought the Steele axles and links together on Amazon. They shipped separately. Links were WAY too long locking the front end movement. The two axel halves didn’t even come close. Took those back out. Then, the front axle had no splines on the female end where the two halves slide together. Basically making it two wheel drive.

OEM, instantly failed. Perfect, easy replacement.

Good drive lines, double check the have the right ends.
I got these for the red car accent 1/18.. the ones I got didn't have the correct end that went onto the output shafts... But they fit my axial AX24.. so that was a plus...not sure if it was packaged wrong or what... Drive lines were great.

Quality pieces albeit finicky to install
These were purchased to replace the stock plastic pieces on my son’s redcat truck. They worked like a charm! I no longer need to worry about the pieces falling off while off-roading. They are a bit finicky to get on, but like any of the smaller truck pieces, it’s to be expected. Try to get a small part of hands to help!
