Amazing audio quality with added options
Superb rendering of any audio source. Small size metallic box with beautifully designed plastic face plate. Minimal controls on the front panel and fully detailed controls on the remote. Adjustable sound treble and bass bring clarity and deepness. CD/DVD mode plays any type of recording except protected DVDs and the sound is amazing. HDMI output makes the tv integration a breeze. USB not tested as Iโm not interested in that format. Radio mode works as expected in CD quality on many FM stations that are to be found in NY city today. If the antenna is properly set, the stations are coming in with a strong and stable signal. BT mode, the major feature for us, is excellent and the ver 5.0 gives a fast and stable connection to the source besides auto connection to same device after the second run. No cassette player and No WIFI connection and therefore NO internet radio. Note: The speakers used are a pair of SONY SSC 3 way Hi Fi 100W. The ones in the package were given away. The remote setup looks intimidating but itโs not difficult to find the programming mode as its logic is not complicated. e.g. treble and bass functions are controlled - UP/DOWN with Vol+ or Vol- Best settings for treble +5, bass -3. Finding RADIO stations is done by Scan or manual Fm+ or Fm- Indoor antenna Bigfu sold on Amazon for few $s. Could not find a way to save settings which revert the system back to default when it restarts - cheap programming. The advertised DSP equalizer is nowhere to be found and certainly the manual is silent. Overall this is a great audio system as I bought it used in like new condition for an extremely low price and Bluetooth is its main source that works great.

Bluetooth worthless. Sound is crap. Super short speaker wires.
You can max out the volume and sit directly in front of these speakers and have a hard time hearing dialogue in a movie. The speaker cables are extremely short so if you plan to use this with the speakers more than 2 or 3 feet from the main unit- it isn't going to work. Also mine shipped with one of the connector tabs on the end of the speaker wire completely broken and missing. It had to have been shipped that way because it isn't anywhere in the package or box. Completely disappointed for almost $200, not sending broken stuff shouldn't have been too much to ask.... Update: This will pair with multiple devices no problem...but it won't stay that way. Intermittent/choppy audio are common across devices as are frequent disconnects. It is more or less unusable with bluetooth. Regretting this purchase more each time I use it. Update 2: Should have just returned this. Bluetooth connectivity doesn't work making this unit worthless to me. Spend a little bit more and avoid Pyle products, they used to be good but that's not the case anymore. Update 3: I could not hate this hunk of worthless junk more than I do. Pyle will never get another single dollar from me for anything. Update 4: In further attempts to utilize this product and not regret my purchase....they have failed again. The product description lists this as having RCA audio IN.....HOWEVER....THIS IS A LIE. While it does have RCA ports for audio...they are OUT ONLY. More misleading advertising from what may end up being the worst purchase of audio equipment I have ever made in my life.

Nice shelf stereo
I bought this nice little stereo for my sonโs room. He likes collecting cds and wanted a way to play them. This stereo will not only play cds, but will bluetooth connect to his phone to play his Spotify playlist as well. It has an HDMI output as well should he ever have a screen in his room and want a way to play dvds. It has USB and auxiliary inputs as well which we havenโt tried yet but will probably hook his echo up to eventually. The stereo also has an fm tuner. Itโs a nice stereo and does everything he could want it to do. The sound is good, it sounds full and rich and has decent bass. I like the clean, simple look of it. It has a remote, which is handy so he can switch it off from his bed without having to get up.

Has good sound
Good sound and looks good. The remote control is a bit confusing at first but after playing with it I figured it out.

It plays CDs
So I wanted a stereo that could play CDs because I missed not being able to hear stuff that's not available on streaming. This device does that. With that being said, I can't figure out how to get it to repeat anything. The only real way to control it is with the remote. But it's small it fits on my shelf, and I'm even able to listen to my iPod using the aux. Would I purchase this again? No. I would find a stereo that has a repeat feature. This one seems more interested in being some sort of DVD player, which I would never use it for. That could partially be on me, as well, for not paying attention to the features when purchasing. Volume and sound are overall good.

Clean look, great sound!
Amazing sound, definitely worth the price. Wish the cd player was just a disc you slide in instead of having to eject the tray. But still a great sound system.

Cheap
I thought I was buying a cheap CD player that was nothing special. BOY WAS I WRONG ! This little thing is powerful. It has a BIG sound and I was shocked when I saw it was also a great little DVD player too! It seems to be very well built. It's one of the best purchases I've ever made. Don't hesitate, buy it. I bought mine to have something to listen to while I'm saving up $3,000 for a stereo system I have my eyes on. This player will more than make me happy till that day comes. Thanks Amazon for a great deal. I will buy a couple more to give as Christmas gifts.๐ค๐๐ค .

Started making weird noises after a month!
I've been using this stereo for about a month, and now it has started making weird noises from the CD player, where I can hear the drive head moving during playing. The stereo was pretty disappointing before that too, since the max volume is only 32 and not as loud as I would like. Also, the repeat function is completely messed up -- there's no easy way to turn off one-track repeat. Instead, you have to cycle through the full disk repeat, then random track option (which immediately starts playing a random track), then repeat off, then change to a different track, then select repeat again. Very dumb design!
