Great value
Great value! It s a perfect addition if you already have a HomeKit hub (e.g. Apple Home Pod) and wish to extend it with zigbee devices and integrate them in the Apple home app. Bought it to integrate with Aqara curtain opener and works flawlessly and shows up in my Apple home. Just a plug it, set it up in just a matter of minutes and forget about it. What more to ask? Oh and the lovely this about it is that you can turn off any signal lights for a good night sleep.

Awesome
They work really well and awesome to have. First world problem, not having the time to manually open the curtains. LOL I was leaving for work before sunrise and did not want to open the curtains at that time. This product saved the day, now they open on a schedule and close on a scheduleโฆwoohoo!

Workea great. Quieter than switch bot
Bought these and switchbot and returned the switchbot. These are more quiet and more powerful. Aqara app is terrible, but I have them in home assistant. They connected via matter to HA, but they were buggy. They connected via Homekit as well and that works great. I have the Aqara M2 hub.

Um.... Has some issues but I still like it.
First off, let me confirm that the ROD version also works with U-rails, etc... you just get the rod adapter. Which, honestly, its silly to sell this without it because hopefully this will last a long time and who knows.. you might get a rod later. So instead of getting the U-rail version, just get this one unless you don't want versatility later. Second, it really doesn't work well with Smart-Things so I ended up having to get an Aqara Hub, and the newer model hubs are insanely over-priced. I have mine connected as dual curtains on ikea u-rails (I had to use zip ties to get them to stay on the u-rail, you cannot use the curtain clips from ikea to hold these, they are too heavy). Unfortunately, they have issues.. I have the rod and u-rail version and they both do the same things. 1) One of mine 'creeps' further down the track when it goes it close so eventually I have to recalibrate them. 2) I tried to use the light sensor and I have no idea what it was doing but it pulled my curtains apart trying to close (yes, I have them grouped in a pair in the app) so you would think that the light sensor in the pair would just tell the curtains to close but; my curtain on the left just decided to go all the way to the right side of the u-rail trying to close instead of closing the right and left curtain. Overall, I like them but even though they are supposed to be matter compatible you are going to need the hub. Smarthings will recognize them and add them but eventually they stop working very quickly. I even tried other drivers and different ways to install. I also have a problem with Alexa finding the devices on a regular basis.. and this could be Alexa or it could be the Aqara hub. Almost daily Alexa says it can't find the Bedroom Curtain.

Home Assistant via Z2MQTT โบ๏ธ
Works with Home Assistant via Z2MQTT. It works as intended and it was discovered on my Zigbee network quickly without the need to download the Aqara app. I have it set up with HA automations and have exposed it to my Alexa via HA, so I can just ask it to open and close from there too. I've had it for about 2 months and the battery life has been pretty good, I only charged it once at initial set up. One thing I did notice is I cannot set up the "hand open" feature on HA, but its not a big deal for me. In regards to sound, I guess it could be quieter, but I have mine set up with a U rail so it could be the wheels contributing to the noise.

Just what I needed
Amazing robot. Works great for my windows that are too tall to open by hand. Watch the video. Bought 3 more after this one

Sold a Region-locked Device
Unable to pair with my fully updated Aqara M3 Hub (as req'd). Product is region locked (assuming China, based upon bottom side writing of the device), therefore it would not pair my hub (U.S. based).

No speed control
Be aware that you can't control the speed of these with Homeassistant and this is somewhat loud
