I must say, for $10 I’m impressed! My original Garmin 2x strap broke after 5 hard years of use. A new one from Garmin is $40ish. Not bad if it lasts another 5 years but decided to go the $10 route which is against my instincts. The look and feel of the matte black band is very very nice. It does seem well made and feels just right on my arm. Easy installation, compatible with my torch just as advertised. 2 days in, I’m impressed. Time will tell the rest.

While this band is functional, I can't live with its shortcomings. First of all, the band and the "loops" to secure the excess band length are much thicker than the original band. Between the thickness of the overlapping band and the "loops", this band it huge. It catches on clothing and other things. The bands, while difficult to slide into place, don't stay in place, once I have them where I want them. (Probably because they are catching on other things.) The only reason I'm not rating this lower is because the price is reasonable and the band does attach very securely to the watch.

I was a bit skeptical about the quality of this strap, however is actually very good and it has the same quality as an original Garmin strap.
