Very well made, great for a boating application!
This is my second meter, and I am highly impressed! The first meter I had placed on the exterior of a battery box I built for a trolling motor on my boat. This is very accurate, and has held up like new in the harsh marine environment! I have had this in the rain, fog, waves, and it works perfectly for over a year now! It auto shuts off after a few seconds and does not drain my battery.

Perfect
I have a small jon boat with a trolling motor, fish finder and a reservoir . I like to go deep into small rivers to fish. As a new boater, I had a new idea how much power the equipment would drain. I bought this inexpensive meter to tell me the battery level. Is was a great addition to the boat. Now I know exactly when to turn back and head to the dock. The best part is that this can be used on all 12v applications . I love it. Works great.

inconsistent readings
I bought this to let me know when my batteries for my trolling motor are getting low, first time out it showed I had 80% battery left. got home and my charger showed I had 70% left, not bad! Next time out after running for about 1hour it showed I was less than 50%, I ran for another 3 hours and when I got home I still had 30% left. Very inconsistent readings.

No more guessing on how much charge I have left in my battery
This meter works great! It takes the guess work out of how much charge is left in my battery. I use it with a trolling motor and was surprised to see how much charge I still had in the battery after two hours use. I have always been cautious when out in the boat after trolling for a couple of hours. I thought I’d better call it day fearing I was getting low on the battery and not wanting to have to paddle back in. Now with this meter I hook it on the battery and check it periodically. It’s given me more fish time! Definitely recommend it.

Pay for what you get!
Smallest wire I’ve ever seen to work with. Simply to install. But… not accurate at all. I checked my battery and it was fully charged. This meter read low voltage. Don’t trust it.
