A good product. Set up in literally seconds. Pull the plastic tab to connect the battery. 'Smart Things' on my Samsung S25 phone instantly picked it up. The phone told me to push the button on Tag2 for a couple of seconds, then a few more seconds it was connected. On the phone I named it Dog 2. I bought a separate cheap silicone case and a metal ring and put it on the dogs collar. Now I can track on a map in smartthings and see exactly where they go. It bounces signals from any Android phone in the area to get location. (The apple tag bounces off any apple phone in the area). So, if your in the middle of a field with noone around it willshow you where you are ... but if your dig runs off away from your phone it picks up any android phone, eg when the dig is leaving the field, from people in passing cars, homes etc etc. Its well made... I have one on my keys and can easily find them... use your phone to find it... and it also starts it beeping. The battery on my keys has lasted for over year.. but is easy and cheap to replace the CR2032 battery found in most supermarkets. The app tells you when the battery is running low. Also, in smart things, you can put it as dog and start when you leave and it tells you a load of stats about your walk. All in all a very good product.

Brilliant for my pup, it gives me a piece of mind knowing he has this incase he escapes or runs off. Setup was a breeze and the app is brilliant as you can use it as a conventional tag to find keys etc or with smartthings it allows you to make it pet specific and create a pet profile which unlocks extra features where you can see how much activity they have had each day. It also compares their activity data with similar breeds and all other pets worldwide, pretty cool and interesting to see! With all of the features and vast battery life I'm amazed at how cheap these latest tags are, I can’t recommend enough. I've attached a picture of the housing made specifically for collars and harnesses.

I bought this Smart Tag2 because I am always looking for my keys, at my age you forget where you put them, at the moment I have managed to find my keys. I also thought it would be useful to insert in my travelling case if and when I go on holiday so that my luggage does not get lost. I would hate to arrive at my destination and find that my luggage did not accompany me.

The tracking accuracy is excellent, especially when paired with a Samsung Galaxy phone. The Compass View and nearby search features make finding lost items much faster and less frustrating. Overall, the Galaxy SmartTag2 is a fantastic smart tracker for Samsung users. Reliable, easy to use, well designed, and genuinely practical for everyday life.
