They work! Once I started using these my stomach pain went away when taking it with my supplement. I only wish they made them in the 000 size.

Enteric-coated capsules protect against stomach acid, helping capsule contents which need to make it through the stomach and down into the intestines, like living probiotics, and some enzymes including the allinase enzyme in garlic to break down garlic alliin into allicin for blood pressure, cholesterol, and anti-microbial bacterial and viral. I prefer the beef gelatin over unclean pork or inedible "vegetarian" wood/cotton cellulose fibers.

Great product for home use

I bought these to encapsulate pancreatic enzymes for my dog. I got tired of mixing loose stinky powder into my dog's food and having to wait 15 minutes while it "incubates". Now I just throw in a couple of filled capsules into his food and I'm done. The only downside is hand-filling the capsules, but I am buying a capsule filling tray from that company that rhymes with Emu that can fill 100 capsules in 20 minutes

If you're filling your own capsules and need delayed release, these do what they're supposed to — the enteric coating holds up in an acidic environment and breaks down once the pH rises, which is the whole point. The click-shut closure is satisfying and functional; you can feel when it's sealed, which matters when you're handling fine powders. Being transparent helps a lot with consistent fill levels. Size 00 is on the larger end and holds up to about 1g of powder depending on density. If you're working with lighter herbal powders it tends toward the higher end; denser supplements fill lower. Worth knowing before you order if you haven't worked with capsule sizes before. 100 count is a reasonable starter quantity if you're trying enteric-coated for the first time. Bovine gelatin, no fillers listed, and they've been consistent at least for my use so far.

Great gelatin capsule cases, we found these extremely useful to give our dog who was taking powdered enzimes for her digestion. They came very handy, the pills were able to hold quit a bit of the enzymes, and made it easier to get our dog to take the pill than the powder. Worked out great.

good capsules to avoid stomach acid supplements but they are time released

These are not actual delayed release/enteric coated. We need an enteric coated encapsulation of a supplement my son needs to avoid stomach release during his workouts. Unless he takes these capsules with a ton of food he spends his training sessions burping the supplement the whole workout, counteractingb its effectiveness. Even with that, he's still getting the occasional supplement burp which means the supplement isn't making it to the intestines and isn't doing the job it needs to. So maybe we'll look for an alternative when we finish these for an actual enteric capsule.
