Absolutely love this and will be returning back for a higher capacity m.2... Had no issues with installation, plug and play. Of course you better have a Gen5 slot or don't waste your money. Everyone saying it runs hot, you're not cranking 14k+ speeds without some heat. I think their boxes don't have enough circulation and with the M.2 sandwiched between the CPU and the GPU, that is a lot of heat in the box after it leaves those two components. It then needs to leave the box or you run the risk of it affecting other things. My setup, AIO liquid cooler on the 7950 CPU, pulling the heat out of the area exhausted thru the top of the box and Vertical mounted 4090 GPU giving this drive more space for air flow between the board and GPU... and yes I got the white one to match. :) Buying a second one, as my board has (2) Gen5 slots.

No issues at all. Purchased 2 of these but the placement on gigabyte Motherboard placement prevents mt from installing both. The video card will not seat firmly. I would buy without heat synch if I had to do again.

Dont use on gen 4 thinking you can switch to gen 5 port You'll get all sort of issues I had my old 990 in gen 4/5 slot so I imaged this drive in another slot, moved all my files and then tried to move it to gen 5 slot and had all sort of issues Bios kinda recognized the drive but not bootable. When booted from samsung 990 I could see the other drive on gen 5 port and access files but not accessible in bios or bootable. Only after full partition delete could use it in gen 5 port Silly Wasted many hours. Support clueless as always

Provides blazing fast read and write speeds and doesn’t over heat very easily only thing is it’s a bit thick so make sure to measure the space your gonna put it first overall very easy to setup will buy again

When I bought this NVME it was the lowest priced NVME Gen 5. I installed it, it worked magnificently. It doubled the speed of programs opening and storing data. The problem is, it failed after two weeks, the drive could no longer be accessed, I lost all my files, everything on it. I don't know why it failed. It came from Amazon Germany, and now I'm returning it to Slovakia for my refund. Stick with another brand, I bought it for the price, the reputation of Crucial with their memory etc., but this was the biggest fail in my PC upgrades. Not knowing what caused the failure, I cannot recommend this NVME, but can't say it will fail for you as it did for me.

Super fast but get really hot make sure you have adequate cooling

Technician just tried to install this in my PC and after endless tests BIOS confirmed that this SSD is dead. Unfortunately they tried this after my return window closed. Don’t buy from here!
