My size is 7.5 should I take 8

For me, these boots ran a size too big. I wear an 8 and ordered an 8. It was extremely too big. I believe a 7 would’ve work… MAYBE a 7.5 depending on intended sock thickness. But I absolutely could have went with a 7.

Are these snow boots slip resistant and suitable for ice and snow?

The snow boots for women are great, I bought them to wear at work on very cold days, I work in a kitchen and I have to have slip resistant shoes. They do well as I expected.
