Simply Organic, Cayenne Organic, 2.5 Ounce

Organic, good quality cayenne pepper! It works effectively when I'm cooking, as I always like to add a sprinkle to dishes I make. It tastes fresh, which is always a plus, and you get a decent amount for the money.

As a child, I was a brat. Once, after using a word that my mom didn't think I should be using, she decided to punish me by putting Tabasco sauce in my mouth. I grabbed the bottle and retreated to a safe distance, coated my tongue with it and stuck it out at her. I was hooked! The adrenaline from my defiance combined with the endorphine rush from the hot sauce and I was addicted. The heat level was above average. I used it in my oatmeal and on chocolate ice-cream and anywhere else that I wanted a bit of heat without the taste of vinegar from hot sauce. Most of it went to boost the heat level of Chipotle in my pozole and chile. But alas, my bottle is empty and I will order it again when I have worked my way through an eight ounce bottle of another brand that a neighbor had given me. She had planned on using it as a deterrent to the cats that were digging in her garden. Since I have to use twice as much of the other brand, it'll only be a month or two, though.
