The 8Bitdo Bluetooth Retro Adapter is a nifty device. I love it for the simplicity and how easy it is to use. Just plug it in, push the red button, put the controller in pairing mode and bam! I was off gaming. It performs excellent. No lag, from what I can tell, I mean the results don’t lie. Just peek at the photos. I have only tested Switch controllers. Just like the RGEEK Wireless Controller Adapter, Some 3rd party Switch Controllers don’t pair, leaving me to suspect it’s the controllers, not the adapters. If you still play on your ps2, I recommend getting this adapter.

Pairs with PS4 controller very quickly and works with almost no lag. I got this after finding out that connecting the controller to a laptop via bluetooth is so laggy that it makes the game unplayable. Very happy with this so far. Looks really good. Has a nostalgic design, and it's very sturdy. I'm using it on a fat PS2. It may not fit a slim PS2 properly. Sometimes it stays connected after a reboot and sometimes it doesn't. You will need to press the pairing button manually again.

Works great! If you’re having issues with it accepting your controller; do a firmware update on the adapter. Great adapter for the price.

Works as advertised. It’s nice to use a modern wireless controller on an old PS2 slim. My only complaint is it’s only one port. Will need to buy a second adapter for player 2.

If you’re looking to play some of your favorite PlayStation 1 or PlayStation 2 games and don’t want to be limited by their controllers wires, than look no further and get this Bluetooth receiver. Set up is extremely easy, just put your controller on Bluetooth pairing mode and with the press of a button on the receiver, you’ll be paired in seconds and ready to play. I currently use it to play my PlayStation games with my DualSense 30th Anniversary edition and was even able to complete the tutorial of the infamous Driver game. I also have a customized DualSense to look like a PlayStation 2 for that console. There a numerous controllers that the device can be paired with including DualShock 4, 8BitDo, and even an Xbox controller. Overall it’s a must have if you want to use a modern Bluetooth controller on a retro console

I broke out the ol' PS2 and realized that most of my old controllers were broken for it. Luckily, I have a plentiful amount of PS4 and Xbox wireless controllers around. Now I can use them instead and don't have to worry about the wire! This thing is plug n play. Controller connects right to it with no issues. No latency or issues as of yet. I even bought a second one for multiplayer games. For the price compared to a new controller, just buy it.

It works fine when I use my ps5 controller but there’s some imput lag. So I don’t know if I’m ok with it or something

Fonctionne très bien , pour manette ps4 / ps5 . Un peu compliqué pour connecter. Il faut rester appuyer sur share+home jusqu'à que la manette s'allume (5 secondes environ )puis appuyer sur le bouton rouge de l'adaptateur . la distance plus de 10 mètres , aucune gêne d'obstacles.
