Great wireless camera
I recently purchased this camera (the Aosu D1 Max) and I am extremly pleased with the features, performance, price, and customer service. First of all, it was important for me to have a detachable solar panel (due to the location placement of the camera), which this has and it keeps the battery at 100% charge nearly all of the time. The image is 3K which is very high resolution and the 360 degree detection was also important to me. The AI detection works great and even tells me when a cat is detected. I also enjoy the very bright light and choice of alarms that sound when motion is detected. I did a lot of research and found that the price of this unit is very competitive considering all of the features it has. Lastly, their customer service is excellent, they answer the phone 24/7 and were very knowledgeable and helpful when I had questions about the initial setup. I would highly reccomend! the D1 Max!

Excellent service
Good camera and great service. I can monitor entire house with several cameras. Detachable solar panel a must. Easy set-up and use. Wi-fi always connects. Camera has clear picture. Audio works but I do not use it. would recommend. Julie was very helpful!

Great little camera with more options than the standalone,
I purchased this camera to replace an existing hard-wired camera that finally quit after several years of use. The camera definitely is an improvement over the old stationary camera allowing a 360-degree view of the area under surveillance. The camera's built-in motion sensor program which follows the person from the moment of detection is a definite improvement from the stationary camera. The ability to see a live view as well as to review an "event" detected video from your phone is a nice feature. I originally elected the "detect all motion" feature of the camera but have defaulted to the "AI motion detection" as the former function (Unfortunately} picked-up a spider attempting to spin its web. I think the recent rain may have also contributed to the multiple notifications, leading me to elect the AI Detection function; thus eliminating the multiple notification I have elected to use the standalone option by recording the events to a SD card vis-a-vis the cloud and have found the local recording to be good. The option to review the detected events and delete the recording is a great feature savings only the events you want to keep and downloading to your phone for longer storage. I recommend this cameral and am considering purchasing more. PS: The solar panel has kept the cameral fully operational and charges us quickly with minimum of sunlight; even on cloudy days

Easy setup
I needed a security camera in an area where there was no electricity. I ordered this camera and really like how easy it was to install and set up. Just 6 screws for the 2 mounts. I like the long cord for the solar panel. It made it easy to mount the camera under a covered porch and the solar panel out from under the roof. The camera stays charged even on cloudy days. The picture from the camera has good resolution. Once the camera detects motion it tracks well. Though it is a little slow on the draw in that department sometimes. Aosu is good about creating updates that improve the cameras functions. I like that the siren is loud. It has virtually ended people invading my yard and helping themselves to food from my garden. There are two things that I really like about this camera. Firstly their customer service is great. One lady in particular was extremely helpful when I had problems. She was quick, efficient and empathetic. Secondly I love the local storage on this camera. I don't want to have to pay exorbitant fees that frankly leave my recordings for strangers to see. I'll never have to pay for a cloud service with Aosu. I used to run Ring products. Once they hiked their prices so high on their service I started researching local storage cameras. I'm glad I found this Aosu camera. I now own this camera and their floodlight camera. Both are great products. I'm happy to give this camera a yes.

Great camera, Amazing customer support.
I got three cameras about six months ago, and I have been satisfied with the results. The images are clear, and I don't have to worry about charging the camera. The features offered by the cameras and the accompanying app are amazing, and I would highly recommend them. If I had to critique something, it would be the tracking ability. BUT after reviewing other cameras, I found that this one has the second-best tracking. So I think the indurstly as a whole is not quite there yet. I feel like the full motion feature is best used in backyards or front yards, but I wouldn't recommend it for narrow pathways. I have a skinny side entrance, and if you walk quickly, the camera can lose track of you. This isn’t a dealbreaker for me since I have the camera positioned to monitor the side gate and the side door entrance of my house. If you plan to use this camera to follow people, it needs to be in a large, open area; otherwise, it may not work effectively. However, that wasn't the primary reason I bought this camera. I wanted it mainly for the ability to rotate so I could inspect my fence or look around the property. I did receive one faulty camera that I didn't catch within the initial 30-day return window, but the customer support was excellent when I called about the warranty. I want to give a special shoutout to Nicole. She was incredibly responsive and always replied to my emails within 24 hours or sooner—definitely a 5/5 experience. As for the specific issue with the faulty camera: around the 4 month mark, I noticed that one of the cameras was consistently draining its battery. At night it would be at 100% change and then in the morning it was at 80% charge even with no activity. Then one day in the morning, it dropped to 10%, prompting an alert that it needed charging. Initially, I thought the issue might be due to the solar panel's positioning because the other two cameras were charging just fine. So, I moved the solar panel to a similar location as one of the other cameras, knowing it was a good spot, but the problem persisted. After contacting customer support and going through some troubleshooting steps, we discovered that it was a battery issue. The battery would fluctuate between high charge to low charge % in minutes, never showing a gradual increase in charge %. While the other cameras would stop charging when they reached 100% through solar, this one kept charging and never attained a full charge unless plugged into an outlet. Nicole was awesome throughout the process and sent me a replacement camera. I would 100% recommend this camera even after this experience.

Great Camera and Great Customer Service
Easy to set up, picture is very clear. Motion detection works great, and the camera follows the object fairly well. Had an issue with one of the cameras losing wifi signal (when it was the closer of the 2 to the router) and customer service quickly had a replacement on the way!

Good Outdoor Camera With Solar Charging and a Bright Light
I’ve been happy with this aosu outdoor security camera. The picture is clear, and the 3K/5MP quality is a nice step up from some of the cheaper cameras I’ve used before. It gives a good view of the area, and the floodlight is bright enough to be useful without needing a separate light installed nearby. The solar charging is probably one of the best parts. Not having to constantly take the camera down to recharge it makes it much more convenient, especially if it’s mounted up high or in a spot that’s not easy to reach. As long as it gets enough sunlight during the day, it should be much less maintenance than a regular battery camera. Setup was fairly simple, and the wireless design makes installation easier since you don’t have to run a network cable. I like it for driveways, gates, backyards, sheds, or other areas where you want extra visibility. One thing I would mention is that solar performance depends a lot on placement. If it’s mounted in a shaded area, under an overhang, or where it doesn’t get much direct sun, you may not get the same results. Also, like most wireless cameras, your Wi-Fi signal needs to be strong where you install it. Overall, I’d give it 5 stars. It has clear video, a useful floodlight, and the solar charging makes it a lot easier to live with once it’s installed.

Solid Semi Off-Grid Cam with Great Video
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I picked this up in May after finding out Google Nest will no longer be supported (which I dropped way too much money on a few years back). A friend of mine had a few AOSU cameras and liked them, so I figured I’d give it a go. Ended up grabbing four different models to try them out, including this 360 cam with the separate solar panel. First off, the camera quality is great. The picture looks crisp, even at night, and the built-in light is super bright when it kicks on. It also has solid night vision if you want to run it dark. Motion tracking works too, though it’s maybe a bit too sensitive sometimes. I get alerts from bugs and cars on the road that are nowhere near my actual driveway. I kind of miss how Nest let me highlight zones to manage stuff like that. As far as I can tell, this camera doesn’t do that yet (unless it is only included in the subscription). One thing I like a lot is the fact it records to a microSD card (I ordered a 128GB SD separately). It only uses Wi-Fi when I check the live feed, so it doesn’t choke up the network like Nest cams always seemed to. And even though AOSU makes it sound like you have to subscribe to their cloud service, that’s not true. I skipped the subscription and haven’t lost a single feature that I've noticed. Just be aware, if you do go the cloud route, it’s charged per device, which adds up real quick. I think it was like $7 a month for each camera or $27/month for a 5-device plan. Personally, not worth it. I specifically wanted this camera to mount on the north side of my chicken coop, but still face the solar panel to the south. The separate solar setup worked perfect for that. It gave me enough cable to run the panel about 8 feet away and still had about a foot left over to bundle. The camera itself has a little 18-inch pigtail that connects to the solar cord, which was nice. It’s about 50 yards from my Wi-Fi router and I’ve had zero signal issues so far. It’s not perfect, but it’s been reliable, sharp-looking, and fits my needs. I’d say 4 stars mainly because the motion alert setup could use some improvement and that subscription pricing is kinda wild. But for the price, especially if you catch it on sale, it’s a win.

Great Quality & Zero Hassle
Really impressed with this AOSU camera. The 360° view and 3K resolution are super clear, even at night with the built-in floodlight. Setup was easy, and the solar power means I don’t have to worry about charging or wiring. Motion tracking is smooth, and the two-way talk is great for deliveries. Works well with Alexa and I feel good knowing the footage is encrypted. Overall, reliable, sharp, and completely hassle-free. Highly recommend!

Decent Camera with Room to Improve
I bought this camera mainly to keep an eye on my dogs when I’m not home. Installation was quick and easy—definitely a strong point. The 360° view is a great feature, especially for tracking pets around the room or yard, but due to the large size of the camera, you’ll want to mount it high for the best coverage and to keep it from being too intrusive. One thing I really appreciated is that you can use a microSD card instead of being locked into a cloud subscription. That flexibility is a big plus. Also, when I had an issue with one of the cameras, customer support (shoutout to Julie!) was super helpful and resolved the problem quickly. That said, there are some areas that could use improvement. The tracking is inconsistent—it sometimes misses my dogs entirely, instead locking onto things like shadows, swaying tree branches, or background movement outside the main zone. The zoom function is digital only, so when you zoom in, the image quickly becomes pixelated—don’t expect clear closeups. The app works, but it could definitely be better. Loading camera feeds often takes a while, and the pop-up ads feel out of place in a security-focused app. Live view is functional, but switching between cameras and moving the camera around can be sluggish. Audio is another weak spot—while I can speak through the camera, I often can’t clearly hear sounds from the other side, which limits two-way communication. At night, visibility drops significantly. The night vision is okay in a small, controlled area, but beyond 25-30 feet it becomes hard to see anything clearly. I also had one camera randomly go offline for a while, though it came back without needing a reset. In short: this camera system can be useful, especially if you want affordable, local-storage security with wide-angle views. But between the sluggish app, inconsistent tracking, and weak night performance, it feels like the hardware has potential that the software just doesn’t fully support yet. With a few updates, it could be great—but for now, it’s a mixed bag. I'll post an update in a couple of months if any new issues come up.

Worth it
Excellent solar security camera for outdoor use. Installation was quick and easy, and the solar panel keeps the battery charged without any hassle. Video quality is clear during the day and night, motion detection works accurately, and alerts are timely. The app is user-friendly and allows smooth live viewing and playback. Overall, great performance for the price and very reliable.

Great product and great support
These cameras are great. Easy install, and the recording quality is quite good. I did have an issue with one of them where it stopped reading any memory cards that I would insert into it and I reached out to Aosu support and Nicole from their support team was incredibly helpful. After I described the issue and it was determined that it wasn’t an issue with one of my cameras they shipped me a brand new one at absolutely no cost, and it arrived promptly. After a lot of research, I determined that these were some of the best outdoor cameras that didn’t require a paid subscription to use and now I would also like to add that their product support is also fantastic.

So Far So Good.
Researched this camera and many others and decided on this one because of the features and the price on Prime Days. The camera was easy to set up and holding a charge I will see how it operates when the winter arrives but working good now. I wanted a camera that would track and this does a fairly good job not perfect but acceptable. I like the 360 view when you want to look around and the feature that returns the camera to its set position. The AI seems to work fairly good a lot of less false alarms than other cameras I’ve used. Time will tell but so far happy with my purchase.
