This was an absolute hit, and a great recital gift for our little ballerina. It arrived quickly and fit nicely into a gift bag. The ballerina twirls and tune plays when opened. interestingly, there was a small square sweet smelling scented included inside which added a soft pleasant fragrance to the box's interior. The locking mechanism was nice and solid yet easily operated while opening and closing for small hands. I added a handmade necklace and bracelet along with the mandatory recital flowers and she had to take the jewelry box to her room allowing it to play as she closed her eyes to sleep. This morning it accompanied her to the breakfast table as well. The box is small but lovely!

It's a pretty color pink and doesn't look cheap at all! It has a sturdy closure but is easy enough for my 3 year old to get into. The storage area is bigger than I expected and can actually hold a decent amount of treasures! Definitely good value for the price!

Gave to my 2 year old granddaughter for Christmas- basically because I gave her much older sister one. Extremely durable - May and still going strong, she loves to carry it and the little dancer. I did not expect it to still be in working order but still going strong

I've gotten my daughter a few jewelry boxes on here and many fell apart. This one is still in one piece and the music still plays. We have had it since Christmas and it's May. She loves it. It's not huge or complex , it's more simple but very pretty!!

I bought this for my grand daughter. It's well constructed and I think it will last. It has the traditional type ballerina inside, you wind it up and it plays music and twirls while the box is open and stops when you close it. I was really happy with the quality.
