I should've done more research when buying my memory foam mattress. Purchasing my mattress in the winter and noticed some heat issues but it bothered me much more in the summer. I purchased a serta copper and gel infused topper since it said it cools and disperse heat but not was it wrong. The day it was delivered to me, it was 95 degrees and opening that topper it was hot. Sleeping in it the first night it was worse than my memory foam mattress by it self. Did some more research and found this cover, kinda skeptical but with Amazon's return policy, I thought I give it a try. It's been a little over two weeks and I must say, it does keep me cooler throughout the night. Still a bit warmer but nowhere near the topper I tried. I got one hate the heat and cannot tolerate it especially when I sleep. If you sleep hot, give this cover a try. It worked for me and sure glad I did.

Do not waste a single penny on this scam of a product. I bought this because I’m a hot sleeper and was hopeful it would provide some relief. Instead, it does the exact opposite. There is nothing “cooling” about it—unless you count the disgusting, wet feeling it creates, like you’re lying in a bed soaked with cold sweat. It’s also slippery to the point of being useless—my sheets refuse to stay on the mattress, even though I barely move at night. And the noise? Absolutely unbearable. Every toss or turn sounds like you’re rolling around on a crinkly plastic tarp. This is a pool tarp being advertised as a mattress pad, in my opinion.

It actually blocks fluid leaks and it also keeps me cool. Love it!

I sleep very hot and hoped this would help protect and cool my new mattress, but as soon as I put it on and lay down, I knew it wasn't for me. While the material doesn't quite feel like plastic, it has a stiff and slippery quality that I found highly unpleasant. I slid around with every movement, slept terribly, and noticed no heat reduction. It's unfortunate, but the search continues.

When I first opened this product up, it was cool to the touch but I could hear how this thing is going to sound on the bed. After I put it on the mattress and laid down, it was definitely not quiet. It sounded like those 90’s swishy starter pants I had back in the day. It keeps cool, which is really the reason I bought it. I just don’t see how they can advertise “whisper quiet” when it isn’t even remotely quiet. Maybe remove the waterproof tarp and sell it just as a cooling cover, and sell a waterproof one for that specific reason…. Not a deal breaker, just interesting that it’s advertised as both. Buy it if you need the cooling feature, don’t buy it if you can’t stand the noisy swishy sound.

Item is as described. Can't say much else, really. I've had no issues since slipping it on the new mattress.

If you can stand the feeling and sound of laying on a giant bay diaper all night I can say it do actually feel cooling 1-2 degrees. I added a cotton topper on top it on a memory foam mattress to reduce the “cradling effect” that seems to be the heat culprit. Slept without the cotton layer for a week and it was too annoying feeling and sounding like a giant diaper.

I do not normally take the time to write a review, but decided to take the time after multiple unsuccessful attempts to try to find a cool touch mattress cover. This is definitely cool to touch. Has deep pockets to fit adjustable bed mattresses. And while it does not have elastic corner straps, it appears they may not be needed.
