Product description The SD810 supports the USB 3.2 Gen2 x2 high-speed transmission specification, with read/write speeds of up to 2000MB/s. This drive meets the high-speed access requirements of video creators or expert photographers. The SD810 utilizes a high-quality aluminum alloy case to improve heat dissipation and maintain stable transfer speeds even under continuous load. It is lightweight and easy to carry and can be used anytime anywhere. The SD810 has passed the strict IP68 standard for water resistance and dust resistance. The drive is nearly impervious to dust ingress and can be immersed in water greater than 1 meter for up to 60 minutes. The SD810 has excellent waterproof, dustproof, and drop-proof capabilities. SD810 also meets the MIL-STD-810G 516.6 impact resistance standard to easily survive accidental drops and jarring. This protection shields your files, giving you peace of mind when transferring files while frequenting the outdoors. The SD810 can be connected to the latest generation of game consoles. Games that do not fit on the consoles' internal storage can be stored in the SD810. The drive is making it easy to expand your game library and add to your entertainment lifestyle. Whether Android, macOS, Windows, or other operating systems, you will not need to worry about compatibility. Just connect via its Type-C port and go. Review: Great SSD for Xbox One! USB-A and USB-C included! - I bought this to use on my Xbox one (original fat) for more storage and to load games quicker than the internal hard drive. If you're using this on Xbox One x/s, you can't put those games on there and play them from it (unless they are the backward compatible games like Xbox, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 ). You can however use it for storage of all games, media, and apps. Since I'm using it on an older Xbox one for storing AND playing games, it works perfectly for my use-case. The build quality is excellent with metal outside and a rubber end that covers the port from dust and water when not in use. The metal acts as a heatsink as SSD drives get hot when in sustained use. For the Xbox, it isn't even close to maxing this thing out speed-wise. I measured 850Mb/s max when transferring. Compared to the capability, the Xbox won't max the drive so it can't get as hot as it would over a faster connection on PC. Even so, I would think the metal case around this would provide good heat dissipation in those scenarios where the drive speed is max and sustained. One of the things that drew me to the drive is that, contrary to Adata's website and desertcart's listing, it comes with both a usb-c to usb-c cable AND a usb-c to usb-A cable. If you look at other competitors in this segment, it varies whether you get a usb-A or not. So that's a nice touch. The cables are different lengths. The Usb-c only cable, is about 6 inches long and the usb-A is about 4. The fact that it includes both cables and I didn't need to buy another adapter is awesome. Especially for the price. In addition to all these things, Adata offers a warranty for 5 years on the SD810. Other similar competitors sometimes only offer 3 years. I'm hoping to never have to use it, but it's nice to know I have it should I need it. As for my games, they now load way faster than they used to. Overall this thing is very small, very fast, very light, a great value, and worked instantly with my Xbox one. Longevity will be the key here, but based on the past Adata data (see what I did there?), I don't anticipate an issue. Don't forget to update the firmware when you get it on your PC. I recommend you buy this without hesitation. I hope this review helped you. If it did, hook me up with a thumbs up, would you? Review: One of my favorite SSD's for storage on the go and at home. - I own two ADATA SSDs. One of them is a two TB SSD for my MacBook Pro (since Apple charges a small fortune for storage), and one for my photos/important data. The ADATA design helps keep your drive safe from small drops and minor splashes. I am very pleased with the read times and functionality. You can format the SSD to work with most operating systems. The water resistance and shock resistance is great for peace of mind. Everything you'll need comes with the SSD in the box. They go on sale all the time. Just keep an eye open.

You won't be disappointed!
Best bang for the buck!! Super easy to use just plug and play. Super lightweight and have had no issues using it for gaming. Just plug it into USB-C or USB 2.0. Even on long gaming sessions I have not heat issue, just luke warm. I feel the quality of this drive is A+. Nice and small only about 1\2 in thick and 2x3 inches in size.

Probably the best value ssd at this price point. Fast enough to record 12k raw video on my Blackmagic. I appreciate the durable design, as well as the door to protect the usb port.
