Very sturdy stainless stone mount. I like that it is stainless steel. Easy to adjust to different stone lengths. Makes sharpening easier with stones elevated on a table and the bases are not easily moved with sharpening motion. Worth it for value and use.

This is a very nice stone holder. It holds the stone firmly with rubber jaws and at a height where you get use of the full surface area of the stone. The pattern on the bottom is also very grippy which means it won’t move when you are sharpening it.

If you are in the market for a Sharpening stone holder, and cannot afford going into debt, then this will most likely serve your intentions. Designed for diamond stones and particularly their own brand diamond stones, they will adapt to most stones up to 9-inches and do fine. They are solid and well-constructed. The base is stable but will encounter a little slipping under normal use. It is highly recommended to use and secure on a dedicated table or workbench. Will holds most stones without noticeable wiggle or straining put on the stone, but it is cautioned to not over-tighten the stones as they do have a tendency to crack or slip out if overtightened. The holder, if well-kept and cleaned, will keep from corroding and last longer than most stones used with. If you are using more than one stone, I'd recommend getting multiple holders and have them available. This will keep from having to place in and take out the stones. Good piece of sharpening equipment to have and definitely use. Like most delicate tools, it has to be kept clean and in good condition to prevent issues.

Oboist/Oboe Reed Knife sharpener, with 4 Shapton Ceramic Whetstones at 320 - 1,500 - 5,000 - 8,000 grit. 8 1/4" X 2 3/4" --- The flattening stone I used is 8" X 3" --- This stone holder seems like a simply made sturdy tool, others too busy for sink extentions. The rubber is heavy/sturdy on surfaces wet/dry. So thanks. The 2 nuts adjustments with a round design instead of wing nut, it feels as good as it looks, and works. Cutting board middle of sink on top, the stone holder on top holding the flattening stone. All my Whetstones were never surfaced since 2010. I marked all my stones with a pencil cross-graph and dribbled water as I surfaced each stone easily after time on eacn one, ealily worked amazingly well. I'm a picky oboist that's worked R&D, and set carpentry in Hollywood. I like this tool. After all, the sharpest knives give me music to play, like Bach Brandenburg Concerto #2. Anything that helps me sharpen knives that works kicks ass.

Put to work right away. I bought the longer version because I have stones of varying length. Good weight, this size was right for me and I expect this stone frame will last for a long time since it is made from stainless steel and has a good heft to it.

I like this stone holder, works great without slippage, very sturdy. Originally bought it to put on my Kramer bamboo sink bridge to give some of my stone elevation when sharpening but did not fit. plastic/rubber was a tad big but not the products fault. It’s still 5 stars from me.

Using it with some metal stone I purchased in combo. Rubber is very solid, I slashed it few times during sharpening, still holds up, good design, keeps stone fixed in place, has some weight which is what you want in a stone holder. Remember after the sharpening to WASH and DRY this thing, because if you leave it to dry out naturally it will start accumulate scum and/or rust on its rifling metal parts. Make sure when drying, shift the rubber pieces and metal adjuster nuts to get all excess water with cloth/paper towel. Great value for money, and judging by its solid construction it might outlive me, so what else can you ask for. Get good stones to go with it and enjoy the process. Love working with it.

This Sharpening Stone Holder is well built, protects and securely holds the stone in place during use- great product and recommend.

At least I don't have to put a wet towel under it keep the stone steady and it help to sharp my knife much better

Well built, and works well. The added height makes using a sharpening stone easier.

I initially balked at the price, but this is well built, and should last me the rest of my life.
