Despite what it says, this does support Linux - including Victron Venus OS on a Raspberry Pi. I expect it would also work with Home Assistant and most other common Linuxen.

Fantastic and words a treat, I would and probably will buy again for my other systems as fantastic range.

The blue tooth adapter arrived before the scheduled delivery. Very good. It was very easy to install. The instructions were included but as I already Windows 10 or above, the adapter installed automatically.It was in brand new condition n arrival and it works well.

This product is outstanding the Range of the bluetooth connection is the best I have seen easy to use plug and play the performance speed of this is fast the quality of the build of this is also outstanding the price is very reasonable

I would give it zero stars if I could, the Realtek driver loads with an error, it doesn't work on Windows 11 and using windows update doesn't solve the problem. I can't find a windows 11 driver for this piece of crap either. And for reference I'm an IT consultant with over 30 years experience, avoid this crap as best you can

This plug and use device worked as treat on my computer, that is old and had no blue device.

Honestly, I got more of a range increase for my bluetooth connections by putting this adapter on an extension and taping it to the wall. At that point I'm not sure if the performance is because of the extra long antenna - confirmed with multimeter that it works - or from being far from interference. Maybe both.Works out of the box on Linux, plug and play. It's significantly bigger than other adapters (obviously).

I have an HP EliteBook computer. It comes with built in bluetooth but it only worked if I was positioned in the direct path of the computer. With this dongle I can be anywhere. I literally positioned myself approximately 30 feet away from it to test it and works perfectly. I am not using Windows. I am using Linux. I don't think it even advertises that it works with Linux but it does. I turned my computer into a retro game machine, and it immediately picked up on my PS4 DualShock controllers. I'll buy another one for the next mini pc I buy.

Works perfectly on Linux Mint immediately, no problems whatsoever. Delighted. Previous similar product from elsewhere was windows only and didn't work on Linux. THIS DOES WORK. Recommended.

This adapter extends bluetooth headphones range by at least 3 times. Best to use with USB extender cable and mount higher up away from metal items for best range. Been using it for over a year with Bose QC35 headphones.

I plugged this into an open port and Windows 11 recignises it! No hassel connected my headsety and now I'm "off to the races". Mostly happy with this purchase so far. Only thing you all should be aware of is the "working usful distance" is more like 35 feet. I stream music and my headset starts lossing signal; this could be the headset not the dongel. Good luck! this works for me, just wish it had furter range.

I was about ready to return this thing, it took over a half an hour to get it working. I made sure I had no other BT devices installed in Windows 10, then inserted this device. Windows assigned a driver, and the device appeared to be functioning in device manager, but could not see any other BT devices to connect to in the bluetooth manager. I tried unplugging, plugging back in, restarts, etc. I eventually used my cell phone to read the QR code for the driver download, downloaded it on my phone, put the file on Onedrive, then downloaded the file from Onedrive on my PC. I then extracted the zip file contents, went into the folder "\Realtek Bluetooth 5.3 Driver Software\RTBlueR_Windows_1051.1038.1040.0301.2023_F027_L\BT_Driver\Win10X64", and ran the installer. (If you have an older 86 bit version of Windows use the folder Win10X86 installer instead)The install was super slow and took several minutes on a fast computer. Eventually it finished and when I went to bluetooth manager devices began to show up after I hit the "add a device" plus sign.I saw the comments on "tin can audio" which is interesting, because that's why I was replacing my old BT adapter, yet THIS adapter did not have that issue, sound quality is good. I'm thinking those with the audio issue need to follow my steps, and download / install the driver from the link.Cheer and good luck!
