Can these be used to cinch clothing on the back of a fashion model to make her clothes appear more fitted?

I would say sure. They are bulky, they are going to stick out quite a bit. They have enough pinch to them. They are about an inch wide and deep the part it’s going to stick out

where are these manufacture?

Thank you for your interest in our Amazon Basics Binder Clips. The clips are made in China.

I believe they are made of steel. A magnet sticks to them and I have seen some rust after being wet.

Small 3/4-inch-wide binder clips with a 3/8-inch capacity and is listed in the About this item section. They also come in med and large sizes
