It’s affordable, and it is such a clean makeup product to use! It smells fresh, almost soapy clean, it’s lightly hydrating, meaning it plumps the skin and primes it for makeup without making it oily. It is amazing how it grips the product. I use it under foundation, even under tinted moisturizer and it grips the same. Works very well with powders as well. I find myself using two pumps an application for coverage of my face and neck. It’s wonderful! Selfie is to showcase the makeup after 5 hrs of wear/ no touch up, no filter. It works on filling pores ❤️❤️❤️

This is a great product and I highly recommend it. However, I am unsure as to why mine was sent without it's cap.. My skin doesn't break out with this formula and my makeup stays put very nicely throughout the day. The gel is nice and light and has a nice feeling on the skin. Very refreshing to use. I feel like this product will work nicely over this summer!

Idk but I do feel like it don’t grip as much very minimal my fingers don’t even feel sticky so naw they tried it!!

This is a super good primer. It is not so sticky like an elf one but it does very well gripping your foundation. Is very affordable. Does the job.

This is absolutely an ideal primer for 40+ middle aged/older skin! Grips foundation well and keeps it from drying out my skin, even reduces fine lines/keeps them reduced some. Feels really nice going on - like a cool gel. Use sparingly because too much gets greasy feeling after being applied, and it doesn't grip foundation so well then. I also recommend the eye primer version of this! Helps smooth pores out *some* but you may want to layer a putty primer in target areas.

I have had some of the most expensive primers money can buy bc my hubby spoils me but I saw this and decided I wanted to try it bc I know they have amazing quality mascara. It did not disappoint. Made my skin feel hydrated and was just a wonderful primer. I have not gotten a bad product from essence so I recommed everyone at least try one or 2 things its so very affordable but yet feels very high end.

I love this jelly grip it really does work and it helps moisturize my skin before I add my makeup for a clean and smooth effect, it also helps I use the jelly grip setting spray afterwards together they work like a charm.

Great skin primer and was at a great price. I have used this everyday for a few weeks and I'm happy to say that I will likely buy this again. When liquid is pumped it dispenses thickly like jelly and you only need one - two pumps at a time

It works better than the milk primer and it didn’t feel heavy or clogging, I wash my face with a face wash then I apply my moisturizer (I use purito Bambo skin barrier) and sunscreen then when all of that dries up I apply the primer, let it dry again then I apply my usual makeup foundation concealer etc. but I could definitely see a glow and the make up does stay for the whole day plus it feels light on the skin unlike many other primers I’ve tried before, keep in mind I have dry and sensitive skin but I believe the routine I’m using also adds up to the equation that’s why I didn’t see any cracking or patcheness in the foundation, essence will always have my heart overall 10/10 would recommend.
