This game takes patience, but it is so fun!
I have to admit, I found this game a bit tedious in the beginning, but once I relaxed and played without distractions (my kids), I found this game very enjoyable. There are times when tapping is required, but it serves a purpose!! You have to hunt for objects in the bushes, dig in the dirt and assemble objects in order to solve the puzzles to advance to the next chapter. Clicking on objects ALWAYS tells you something about them, including whether or not you need them! All puzzles can be solved without any special knowledge, they may just take a little patience. The scenery is beautiful and the story that unfolds in each chapter is fantasy based. Ultimately, I decided this is a fantastic and very fun game. I'd play it again, but will have to wait until I've forgotten the answers to the puzzles! I very much hope they follow this up with a sequel, as the story concludes itself....but with a cliffhanger! P.S. On one or two levels, you will need to re-check the room for new objects which have appeared after completing a task....I got stuck once on this, but have another look around and you'll be fine!

Fun game
The game was fun as I enjoy hide and seek, but I was able to finish the game in less than 5 hours and I am no "gamer" so that was not nice for the money I paid. I would also like to add that the ending of the game was the worst dud I have ever come across, it's just over, period, no real ending, just boom, done, I would have liked to see all my work or a better ending to the story, or a line to the opening of the sequel, it left me feeling that I had a bad game, except I bought one for my sister and hers was the same. I suggest you wait and buy it used at rock bottom price.

Fun but too easy and short
I got this game because amazon suggested it to me and I needed to somehow get to 25 dollars for free shipping. I read stuff about this game and reviews but I really didn't get what it was all about. When it came in I popped in my DS and started right away. You start off as a women/wife/mother waking up in your bedroom and you notice your husband isn't around and you're locked in your bedroom, and you have to figure out how to get out, this was pretty easy to figure out. It's sort of like mist where you can't talk to anyone you just have to figure out what you should do in the room you're in and move on to the next room and figure what you need to do there, and you do that till you reach the end of the game. It's pretty easy to figure out the "puzzles" for each room/place, it's mostly about finding all the items and putting them in the right place to open the door or gate to the next part of the game. To be honest you can pretty much just tap the screen till it solves itself, so if you're lost just start tapping away and you will probably stubble upon what you need to do. I played this pretty casually for about 3 days before I beat it. Yeah it was that quick I would say it took me about 5 hours to beat it. I find that it's annoying that you can't back track... and you can't view your game after you "beat" it. Throughout the game you can find these gems that fill in pictures in your book, it kind of looks like stain glass pictures. I wanted to find all those gems but the way the game is set up you can't do that. When you beat it, it keeps your score of the game, and the only option you can do is start a new game. I would say this game was definitely fun because I wanted to beat the puzzle to move on the next section and figure out what happened to my husband but it did really disappointment that there wasn't very much to this game, I guess I was hoping that the puzzles would get harder and that I was only at the very beginning of the game but nope the puzzles you start off with are pretty much like the puzzles you are going to play throughout the game. This game was fun enough, I'm not sure if I would suggest to anyone to buy it. Maybe borrow it from a friend or rent it.

Good game, but...
This game was really fun to play and I thoroughly enjoyed it...until the ending. The ending happened so fast I almost missed it. It went by so fast I can't tell you what happened. It's almost like no ending at all. If you must buy this game, get it for the gameplay and not the ending. I had no trouble finding anything in the game and was able to find all the little pieces of the puzzle so to speak. The graphics were really good, but there was almost no music to speak of. It's a quiet relaxing game that will take you roughly 5 hours to complete. Because of the extremely short length of the game and the almost non-existent ending, I cannot recommend this game. I expected more than 5 hours of gameplay for the money I spent on this.

I got stuck on this game
I was really excited about getting this game. I love Hidden Objects Games. and this is kind of a hidden object. You find items and add them to your inventory and then you use them on rooms. The bad thing is i got stuck on the first few levels and was not able to move any further in the game. I looked online for answers or cheats and could not find anything for this particular room. It's a parlor with a piano in it. THe mirrors on the wall are missing and you have to find the mirrors in the room and put them on the wall in their correct spot. I did all of that and found the crank that went on the piano. but There was one item missing. A key or something that had to go into the piano i think and i could never find it or go any further. I wound up selling my game back to the Gamestop and lost out on my $30.00 ....

GREAT GAME
I REALLY LIKED THIS GAME. ONLY THING I WAS DISSAPOINTED IN WAS THE PAMPHLET DIDN,T GIVE ENOUGH INSTRUCTIONS. SOME PARTS WERE HARD TO FIGURE OUT. OTHER THAN THAT THE GAME WAS A VERY GOOD GAME

AWESOME!
I loved this game and spent hours trying to figure out some of the tasks! I'm bummed that the subsequent games are not on DS right now. Can't wait to continue the journey.
