These cute little lights are great work lights. They are smaller than I expected but the amount of light cast exceeds my expectations. They fit all of my DeWalt batteries from the smallest to the biggest. I prefer to use them with my 9ah Flexvolt batteries because the light will run for hours and the hefty batteries make a solid base for it. But even with my puny 2ah batteries the lights don't tip over. To address issues from other reviews: a) they are as bright as any work light needs to be, no issue there. b) they get hot-ish, more like very warm, but not a fire hazard, not a burn hazard, much, much cooler than old halogen work lights, and the operating temp is totally normal and expected for a work light. c) yes, the nut on top is constantly loose. The light has never fallen off, and I just instinctively give it a little twist to tighten it when I move the light. Eventually, when I get to the hardware store, I will replace it with a nut that has a nylon bushing so that it stays snug. d) these were a bargain for the price. e) the phantom drain caused by the USB ports is real. The lights come with a sticker warning you to disconnect the light from the battery when not in use. Though I initially thought it was silly to have charging ports on a work light, I did use it on the second day I had them and it turned out to be a high speed charger, so that's awesome. f) the runtime on a battery is about what an experienced tool user will expect, not too fast, not too slow....maybe an hour on my smallest battery, all day on my biggest. g) the lack of the ability to change the color temp bothered me when I was ordering it, but once I started using it, I really didn't care that it is white light instead of warm light. It is a work light, and the color temp is perfect for that. I did purchase another type of similar light that has a more oblong shape, more diodes, and is brighter but I don't like it nearly as much as these little guys. I highly recommend them.

They give off a very strong LED light and lit up my entire extra large play room when my power went out. I didn't realize how bright a 11200LM was for such a little lantern. My only worry would be around little people because they get VERY hot, but the handle stays cool so that is a good feature if you need to move the light from room to room. The cordless option is perfect for power outages and the extra off brand batteries I used that fit the dewalt products gave more than 5 hours of light. They are 8aH so I was hoping that I had enough light when I need it for garage products and power outages and I wasn't disappointed. Great light. Buy but when on do keep away from little people.

Works great and very bright on the high setting, the low setting is bright enough and the battery lasts much longer. All around a good value for the price.

These lights are great. Four stars only due to the fact that it's a little hard to get the battery on and off, but they work great. They are very bright and are very portable and convenient. The carry handle on the top comes in really handy and can also be hung from the handle. I like the fact that they have a hi and low setting. They do get a little warm to the touch after prolonged use but not hot enough to burn the skin.

Absolutely fantastic,works very well with the the dewalt battery..the light is super bright and the only hang up for me honestly is they definitely get hot on extended use.

I purchased these lights after a power outage. They are an excellent fit with my Makita 18 V batteries. The lights are very bright and very durable. Highly recommend recommended.

Very bright an low cost.

For the price these lights work well, are really bright. Being bright also means the battery runs down faster than you expect. The only complaint is the light is attached to the top of the yellow base with a nut that comes loose when you swivel the light. Needs to be a fiber locking nut so it will stay snug.
