Review: I would have loved this as a kid! - Well I guess desertcart's targeted ads worked on this one! I was looking for something else and this bright book I might just happen to be interested in caught my eye.. and I clicked... and it actually looked really good. There was a tinge of buyers remorse from an unplanned and impromtu purchase, but that was quickly alleviated a few hours (!!) later when the book arrived. It is bright and engaging, full of information which is presented in a fun and accessible manner. It is just the kind of book I loved as a kid. As luck would have it, my 5 year old is very much like my younger self, so I am positive she will love it when she opens it at Christmas. She is rapidly gaining confidence in her reading ability so she will have no problems reading this book and demonstrating her comprehension by explaining it to me (over and over again... probably when I'm in the middle of other things!) I heartily recommend this book for kids in the age bracket it is designed for. Review: My 5 yr old daughter loves it! - My daughter loves books, any kind, whether she is reading herself or we are reading to her. This is her favourite book and has been since she opened it on her 5th birthday. We generally read one topic per day and obviously this means we've been through it a few times but it never gets old, there's always something new to think and talk about. I'm enjoying it too and the conversations it sparks are incredible. Highly recommended!

A great book for a child with an enquiring mind
This book came up on my Amazon feed and they were spot on with their recommendation. This is a beautifully produced and illustrated hard back book which I know my grandson is going to find fascinating. It makes learning fun and interesting.

Brilliant science book - my 5 year old loves it
This is a fantastic science book for young children, I'd say 5 upwards to around 8 years. It covers a range of fascinating subjects, such as the solar system and the human body, each covered in a double page spread with excellent illustrations and photos. I've been reading a section each night to my 5 and 7 year old children, who were drawn in by the STEAM cartoon characters and have been engrossed. Great stuff.

Ignite young minds!
What a wonderful book! My girls are so excited they have taken it off together to flick through and learn one new fact each. Itโs so inviting with the wonderful illustrations and they hardly realise theyโre learning because the information is presented so well. Canโt recommend it enough!

Buena compra!
Grande, tapa dura, mucho contenido y bonito, con dibujos para ilustrarlo. Y muy barato! En inglรฉs, pero con un nivel bastante asequible. ๐

the book does not stick to STEAM concept, font could be larger
topics chosen at random, missing most concepts. Author discusses a science topic and another maths topic separately. Instead, should have taken a topic and explained how Science/Technology/Engineering/Art/Maths applies to it. Hence it is NOT A STEAM book. fonts are uneven, very small for most pages. real pictures could have helped.
