It’s an excellent product. Simple to use, folds up nicely and it’s got a handy bag to store it in.

Very good quality and incredible value. Only niggle is the adaptor disc tends to spin when the unit is being attached. Would be better if the disc could be locked. Also would like to know if there are alternative adaptor discs to fit eg Profoto available as this is so much more convenient to put up than their own versions

Very good octagonal soft box. Compact and Very easy to assemble, for small and large projects .

Very quick & simple to build and strip down, the ability to attach the mounting ring to the light then clip the softbox to the mounting ring is a great feature. I also like that you can leave both diffusers in place when you fold the softbox rather than having to attach them each time.

I own or have owned well over thirty light modifiers going back to the early 1980s and from the moment I first opened it I knew that this one was going to be a favourite. Really easy and fast set up and breakdown suits my style and way of working. The quality of the light with both Elinchrom ERQ lights and Canon speedlites is really nice and having the grid is a real bonus. Only time will tell about its durability but I feel confident that it will last. If an adapter was available to swap the Bowens mount for others that would bring it right up there but I have found my own adapter that works pretty well for now.

Been looking for a new small soft box for a while and as we all know, Smallrig make some great kit and this soft box is a typical high standard Smallrig product. I use this mostly at weddings. It's light, folds away durable and great value for money. When shooting weddings I don't want big bulky kit so the size of this is perfect.

Excellent Softbox for Studio Lighting! I recently added the SmallRig 35”/90cm Softbox to my studio setup, and it’s been a fantastic upgrade. The Bowens mount compatibility ensures it fits seamlessly with my existing lights, including those from Godox and Neewer. The octagonal shape provides a beautiful, even light that’s perfect for portrait photography. The build quality is solid, and the materials feel durable, promising longevity. Overall, this softbox offers excellent value and performance for both amateur and professional.

J'utilise de nombreux équipements SmallRig car cette marque propose des produits qualitatifs à un prix abordable. Cette softbox ne déroge pas à la règle et a vite trouvé sa place dans mon kit photo. Les points positifs : - Construction robuste : Les matériaux utilisés sont solides et inspirent confiance. C'est un produit qui semble fait pour durer. - Simplicité d'installation : Le système d'ouverture et de pliage est incroyablement intuitif et rapide, il ne faut que quelques secondes pour la monter ou la démonter. Parfait pour les tournages ou shootings où le temps compte ! Un petit bémol : - Le sac de transport : Si l'idée de fournir un sac est très appréciable, la qualité de celui-ci pourrait être meilleure. Il joue son rôle mais un peu plus de robustesse serait bienvenue. En conclusion, cette softbox est un excellent choix pour ceux qui cherchent une solution pratique et fiable. Malgré le petit défaut lié à son sac de transport, je la recommande chaleureusement pour son rapport qualité/prix et sa facilité d'utilisation.

La SMALLRIG Softbox octogonale 65 cm est un excellent accessoire pour vidéastes comme moi qui recherchent une lumière douce et professionnelle. Grâce à son système de montage rapide, l’installation se fait en quelques secondes, ce qui est très pratique lors des tournages où chaque minute compte. Le diamètre de 65 cm offre un bon équilibre entre portabilité et diffusion de lumière, idéal pour les portraits, interviews ou créations de contenu. La lumière produite est homogène et agréable, réduisant efficacement les ombres dures. La qualité de fabrication est également au rendez-vous : la structure utilise des tiges en acier inoxydable robustes tout en restant légère (environ 725 g), ce qui facilite le transport et l’utilisation sur différents setups.
