My wife had been plagued with Kidney problems for more than a year. The Doctors kept feeding her with more and more pills, trying one thing then another with little to no relief. I'm on dialysis now for 4 years. This helped my labs and kidney function. I can still urinate, and I was 3 days a week on dialysis, and now I'm not only doing 2 days a week of dialysis. I will continue to take it. The taste isn't bad.
