Dog Car Seat Cover, Waterproof Hammock for Back Seat, Nonslip (Black/Red)

Bought this a year ago for my then 6-month old Labrador puppy and it's been a lifesaver. It's so easy to install with the clips and the added security of the rubber handles pushed between the back and the seat section of the rear seats (in where an ISOFIX would clip into the chassis - the hammock is not attached to the isofix though). I've used it both in the back seat and in the boot of my Renault captur, and it'll be going into my new bigger car shortly as it really does fit across many makes and models of cars.It's been tough enough to withstand a lab puppy, durable enough to survive muddy walks and Scottish winters, and it washes brilliantly at 30c, with it drying in a few hours when hun up over a clothes airer. It was also fantastic in the summer when my daughter went swimming in a river and forgot her towel - so she could sit on the zipped down side of the back seat and not soak the seats!Have recommended this to a number of friends, far easier to use than having a crate in the car. I have a separate seat belt adapter which clicks into one of the rear seat belts and the lead function attaches to the D-ring on the back of my dog's harness to keep her secured. There's more than enough space in the hammock for a 30kg labrador to move, turn around and lie down, and when she's settled, she loves us opening the mesh panel so she can see through/get ear scratches.

I've been using this for a couple of weeks now. The one we purchased for my husband's car broke after this short time frame, this one is still going strong. The mesh window is great because I don't have to crane my neck to reassure myself that my dog is doing fine, a quick glance shows me that she's gone to sleep or something, or that she's getting restless and wants the window open so she can stick her head out.No problems with grip, which is something I read on a different review. My dog jumps up into my car quite happily and there's no skidding about. The hammock fits great into my VW Polo car, although I do have to tuck it in abit, which means it would also fit a bigger car with no issues. I haven't used the pockets for anything yet, but I can see them coming in handy. The whole thing seems well made, which is fabulous.The seller too, was lovely. They contacted me to make sure I'd receieved everything, straps included, which I had, but it was reassuring to know that they would be ready to help if I did have any issues.I haven't tried to clean it yet, but I do know that it's definitely waterproof after a particularly rainy walk and my dripping wet dog jumped right in and started to form a puddle on the hammock, looking miserable and damp until I got the towel on her. From what I can tell, the mud will wipe right off with no issues. I'm very happy with my purchase. It was easy to install, and the grip on the underneath means that it doesn't slide about, even when my dog is getting impatient to get out for her walk and starts fidgeting. (I've tried to explain speed limits to her, to no avail.)

This fits well, quickly and easily. With the centre zip mesh panel it is more suitable to smaller dogs so they can see through. My larger dog can see over this panel and in fact has broken the zip by putting her paw on it. I suggest there should be a second version for larger dogs. This version should have a stronger, non zip, centre section.

This is a great item! Great quality and price. This is the second one we bought. First one lasted four years! It was used virtually every day. We have a spaniel and although is great in the car, she gets a little lively when she knows we have arrived. So it's had plenty rough handling and has stood up very well. Would highly recommend this item. It fits better in a larger car though. It's a perfect fit for our saloon car but a little too big for our Citygo. It's just a minor point. Still used in both cars though.

This is exactly what I needed for my dog, it keeps her safe and also keeps the car seats clean .

Excellent just what I needed, my old dog loves to turn round on the back seat but has a habit of falling into the footwell and is unable to get back out. This simply attaches around the head restraints of the seats and can clip a side panel from the rear grab handle. Now my old girl is more than comfortable and safe in the rear. She’s quits a heavy dog but this works perfectly for her. Also protects your seats. Easy to install and remove. It’s looks good and is easy to clean too. It’s a must buy at this price for your pooch.

I have now bought 2 of these. I was so impressed with the first one, I got a second for the other car.Its really easy to install on the back seat. So far, it has been installed in a 2021 Ford Focus estate, a 2019 Jaguar XJS, and a Mercedes Benz E Class, 2013 estate.The rubber stays slip in-between the rear seat/back with relatively little effort, and stay put. The straps on both end sections are adjustable so that they can hang from any grab handle.The gauze section is great, as my daft dog likes to look between the seats when we're going anywhere.The zips are sturdy, and haven't failed yet (the first one I purchased was 3 years ago).There are velcro openings where the seat belt catches are, so I can easily slot in her seatbelt restraint strap, and clip it to her harness. Being able to seal the velcro openings around the catch is useful - as it lets minimal hairs through.I have a mastiff - so trust me, I need things like this to be easily wiped clean (much slobbering's lol), which it does with a damp sponge. It is easy to hoover also.After a particular heavy outdoor session, I also popped it into the washing machine - not something I will do very often due to the non slip backing, but it came out fine.The none slip underneath is handy on leather seats, and I can confirm it is indeed waterproof! She got in soaking wet after a particular heavy downpour, and my seats under the hammock were bone dry. However, there no puddles in the hammock either. Whilst it felt damp to the touch, it locked away the worst, making it no issue to remove and hang in the conservatory to dry (would have hung it outside, but, you know, as I mentioned - downpours lol)So - why did I drop a star on durability? OK - after two weeks on holiday, I picked my dog up from the home boarders. Her dew claws grow like crazy, and were due another cut when I picked her up. One of dew claws managed to slash a 4cm rip into the top layer. Not sure there is anything that can withstand a mastiff dew claw to be fair, but hey - I wanted to be as honest as possible. And it isn't an issue when she is trimmed properly. Its never happened since.

I brought this along with another dog hammock on Amazon, as I wanted to be absolutley sure I was getting the right one. At the time of writing both had very few reviews below 4 stars, so this certainly seemed like it would do the job.It was important for me to buy a dog hammock with a viewing window *with zips*, so that we can't just see the dog and keep him ventilated, but also so that my partner can have some physical interaction with him on longer journeys, without him having to jump up.This hammock certainly deserves the accolade of being one of the best on Amazon. It appears to be very well made and sturdy. I had anticipated the mesh window to be made of fabric, which was why I was worried about him jumping up, however it seems to be made with some sort of plastic or rubber material, unlike some others I have viewed. I don't think smaller dogs would make a hole in this although a bigger dog potentially could.The zips actually seem a bit sturdier than I thought, so I am confident they will not break so long as they are used reasonably carefully.I have opted to keep this hammock and send the other one back as this one is ever so slightly bigger and fits the modern day larger hatchback a lot better. The side flaps are a bit bigger and the whole thing just sits a bit more comfortably in the back of the car. Whilst both seemed very similar I also thought this one just looked slightly better too.I hope it lives up to it's high quality appearance.

Wir nutzen die Matte für unseren Ford Focus Kombi und sind super zufrieden. Die Matte schützt die Sitze und es kommt kaum Dreck hindurch. Lediglich feiner Sand und etwas Feuchtigkeit nachdem unser Hund gebadet hat kam hindurch. Also wenn der Hund schwimmen war sollte man ihn kurz etwas trocknen oder zur Sicherheit noch eine Decke reinlegen. Durch das Netz in der Mitte hat der Hund auch im Liegen die Möglichkeit alles im Block zu haben und die Taschen eigenen sich super für Leinen und Spielzeug. Im Urlaub hatten wir die Matte sogar in einem VW T5 Bully dabei und selbst dort hat sie gepasst. Sie ist also echt in vielen Autos nutzbar und ihr Geld absolut wert.

Biggest plus was it was big enough for our 55 pound pup on a recent road trip. She had plenty of room when it was just her in the back seat. The fit in the back seat was good, maybe a little small but nothing more than an inch or two on either side.Everything hooked up just fine and created a great space in the seat that was perfect for the dog. HOWEVER, I would suggest looking to make sure you put the rubber side of the bottom down. Basically follow the instructions which I skimmed. Setup was easy though, despite my obvious handicap of not actually reading the instructions.This worked exactly as it was supposed to and was very much worth the money. The only drawback was if you have someone sitting in the back with this, then it can be cramped and obviously an issue. But even that is very minor if you slide one side over and create space.
