I bought this band just to try it out and honestly wasn’t expecting to like it this much—but it really exceeded my expectations. Right out of the box, the design stands out. It has that bold, rugged look similar to a G-Shock style, which gives the Apple Watch a much tougher, sportier appearance. The color looks great in person—clean, solid, and exactly what I was hoping for. Comfort-wise, it’s a win. Even though it looks bulky and heavy-duty, it’s actually very comfortable to wear throughout the day. It fits well, feels secure, and doesn’t get annoying on the wrist like some rugged bands can. Protection is another strong point. The case and bumper design wrap around the watch nicely, giving it solid protection without interfering with usability. It definitely feels like it can handle daily wear and a few bumps without any issues. Overall, I’m really impressed with this band. It looks good, feels good, and adds real protection. I’m already planning to pick up a couple more colors.

Update: Okay so I bought this watch band probably like a year ago. I try to leave reviews on all the products I buy on Amazon, and today I was cleaning my watch and band (it got pretty grimy) and I started thinking “I should update that review if I ever left one”. Turns out I never left a review after buying it. So here we go: First things first: this is a great rugged Apple Watch band. I always have Otterbox-like cases on my devices because I’m rough with them and I’m clumsy at times. I was concerned that I wouldn’t be able to find a rugged band that fits my huge wrists. This one does, and I still have 3 holes left on the band. So if you have a big wrist, this is the one for you. If your wrist is small, you might need to cut the band down some, but that should be easy to do with a new razor blade. Second, the edge of the band comes above the plane of the screen, so you won’t bang your watch face on a flat surface (still gotta be careful about pointed hazards, though). The crown is exposed, and it moves just fine. The buttons are covered and they work great even in the case. There’s holes for the speaker and mic, but they have some form of mesh on the larger one, so no worries there. It’s comfortable and it looks cool. Looks rugged, but not overtly bulky. It’s easy to clean even when it gets grimy, I use water, a toothbrush, and 91% rubbing alcohol for the tough grime. The brush gets in all the nooks and crannies. Okay now to the reason I decided to come back and do this review a year later. This thing is STILL going strong. No tears, a few scuffs on the metal band loop, but that’s to be expected. I’ve worked on my car engine with this on, I’ve mowed yards, I’ve done a shower remodel, I’ve done everything. Haven’t broken the watch (or the band) yet. I’m considering buying a new band in maybe the orange or green just to have something that looks nice for the occasional style flair. But as far as the tried and true black band, I’m gonna keep it and keep using it 80% of the time. Oh, and it’s easy to pop the watch in and out of the band. It’s not hard to do. If you wipe the watch and the band down once a day, it won’t get grimy. But let’s be real: few people will do that. Original Review: I bought this band for my Apple Watch 8. I wanted something that was rugged enough to protect the watch without being too bulky and I am a big guy with large wrists. This watch band was perfect for me. I usually have it on hole 4 or 5 from the end, and there's still plenty of band to tuck under the loop. The button and dial work great, and it's easy enough to pop the watch out so you can clean the band/case. I just use a toothbrush and soapy water, comes out looking like new. I've had it for a few months now, wear it daily, and haven't had any problems with tearing or anything else. If you're a bigger guy/gal, rest assured this will be a good band for you. If you have a small wrist, you'll probably have a lot of excess band unless you cut it down.

I don’t know if I’m just cheap or what, but I felt like this was a lot given that watches come with a free band and you can buy others for like $10. So if you’re like me, don’t let the price stop you from purchasing this band. My husband has thanked me so much for this watch band that it was well worth it. He loves how it looks and he’s not typically the kind of guy who comments on something’s appearance. This watch band is nice enough for his management position at his oil company. But also not so nice that I’ll be mad if it gets messed up while he’s helping on a compressor. I think it’s nice it can check both of those boxes. He had it on in under a minute. So is easy to use and install. We went sand sledding in west Texas and his watch didn’t break although it was covered in sand. So I do feel the band is providing decent protection.

It's a nice band. It fits really well and looks nice, but it does not work with tempered glass screen protectors that cover the top and side of the watch. Which is part of the reason I bought it, because Rufus told me it did. Bad job Rufus! Good product nonetheless. In addition, that whole business about scuff free stainless steel, it NOT true. My band is scuffed and I have only had it on for a little over two hours and I've only been in the house. It's a good buy, for the price, I suppose but it disappointed me and I don't want anyone else disappointed.

I’m a second-time buyer from this brand, and that alone should say a lot. My first watch band lasted me almost 2 years of daily wear! I even wore it when I was in the Army, it got pretty roughed up at times. My watch was in great condition! It finally broke and I knew I was gonna to buy the same band instantly. The durability is honestly impressive — it held up through everyday use without stretching out, breaking, or feeling worn down too quickly. The quality for the price is hard to beat, and it still looked great after all that time. Definitely a brand I trust and will keep buying from in the future.

I have the series 9 Apple Watch and it is the 45 mm face. It fits perfectly into this watch band and very easy to install your watch face in this band. I have gotten several compliments from people asking what kind of watch I have because it looks rugged and durable. It does not feel bulky or too thick. I sometimes forget that I have it on because it is very comfortable to wear. Shipping was very fast as well. It feels good on your wrist.

Very well made, easy to load Apple Watch, unload. Secure, stays in place, comfortable and lightweight to wear all day. Color works great for outfits, sports clothes. Bought the orange several weeks ago.

It's sturdy. It's durable. Looks nice. Doesn't necessarily fit the way I prefer but I have smaller wrists and have found that nylon bands are more comfortable for me. But I won't doc this product for that. It's just a personal preference. The product is as described.
