If you can find these on sale (40-50% off) AND they survive amazons shipping, you can’t beat these rods. Quality feel

Great Budget rod at 60$ price point. Durable value rod.
Fantastic rod for the 60$ price point. I have used and abused this rod for mostly bank striper fishing and it has held up well to some abuse over the last few months. It has landed some monsters ranging up to 30-40” with no issues. I don’t think the longevity is there it definitely has degraded over time from heavy use, but you can’t expect too much at the 60$ sale price. I honestly would not pay 100$ for this as I think there are better options at that price point but for 60$ it’s a phenomenal value. It is very well balanced, the action is OK and it bends pretty well with no issues for me thus far other than some small chunks of foam that came out of the handle. Ultimately, it’s hard not to like this rod for the sale price considering all the nice fish I’ve landed. These photos are just some of the biggest ones, there have been many others.

Dobyns (maverick) 734c
I was a little concerned the cardboard container this arrived in had a slight bend and crack at the bottom of the container, after close inspection the rod wrapped in bubble wrap in 3 sections, the bent container had no damage to the rod 😓 the rod seems to be a well built rod in heavy fast action 7’3” 👍🏽👍🏽

80/20 bend with a soft, yet sensitive top6
This MH action 7'3" has an 80/20 bend under significant load(deadliftimg a 5 lb dumbbell). My first impression is that it's going to be a versatile rod for heavier presentations. I hope this helps you in your pursuits, cheers.

Great rod, terrible packaging/ delivery
Rod itself is great, but amazons packaging and delivery of it was terrible. Wrapped in a thin layer of plastic, with 3rd and 4th eyelet from top bent all the way flat to the rod itself. Go get this rod, just get it somewhere else where it won’t be handled like a newspaper delivery

seems to be a good rod for $100> im on my second the first one broke 2nd trip fishing. not worth the money to send back if catch on sale($60). rod seems to be more of a lighter heavy does have some tip.
