It might be a little soon to write a review since I just got this. But I am so favorably impressed I will go ahead and review this now. I can downgrade it later if something about it disappoints me. This is exactly what I needed. This yahrzeit candle is only marginally smaller than the Rokeach one that I have used for decades. And it is 100% safer. No longer do I have to worry about fire. No longer do I need to blow it out overnight or whenever I leave the house. It makes me so happy to see it flickering just like a regular candle. Whatever small disadvantages the LED flame may have are more than made up for by the safety feature alone. One of the things that really sold me is that the battery is replaceable. I already have plenty of these batteries for other devices. And I already have a set of tiny screwdrivers that will easily open the battery cover for me. This definitely is close enough to the real thing for me. I hope I will never need to go back to real candles for remembering my loved ones.

Saves on buying real candles. Good to keep in the house for multiple uses.

This is a nice little Yizkor candle for remembering a loved one. It's a nice size and good quality, battery operated, flickering candle. Arrived quickly.

My family finds some comfort when I turn this on. It is safe and works well. There is some comfort in remembering family we have lost by memorializing them. I intend to purchase more of these in honor of those we lost on 9/11. I also intend to purchase, at least, one of these to remember Daniel Pearl and other hostages taken who are now lost to their families. I will always light one to remember family members who were cherished and to one who will never be forgotten. My husband served his country during the Korean War and was recently buried with distinction at a National Cemetery. He was awarded the Bronze Star. [He was the son of proud and patriotic immigrants.] My father and two uncles served this country during WWII. [They were sons of proud and patriotic immigrants.] My BIL served this country, state-side, during Viet Nam. [At least one of his parents was an immigrant who loved this country.] They were all brave men who wore the uniforms of this country with great pride. My grandparents were immigrants who came here fleeing persecution. They loved this country and were kind, caring, intelligent people who worked very hard and were successful people. They contributed to their communities and produced sons who served in the United States Military. These are my people and they will always be cherished and remembered as treasures and valuable persons. There is someone who wants to lead this country who 'doesn't understand why people would serve.' This should give us all enormous pause. 'May My Husband's Memory Be A Blessing.' 'May My Family's Memory Be A Blessing,'

I bought this device a few days ago for a yahrzeit. Some of the reviews were a bit confusing as to duration or timers, so I tried it out ahead of time. The "candle" looks pretty much like any other was yahrzeit candle and works even more easily since one does not have to worry about it going out ahead of time or possibly starting a fire. You simply move the switch under the "candle" and that's it. I let it run for about 30 hours and then turned it off. I can't say now how many times this cycle will work, but I did buy extra batteries so that I can to continue to use as my "go to" yahrzeit candle. It's a very good size, not exactly realistic, but more than good enough to do the job and to fulfill the mitzvah of lighting a yahrzeit for deceased relatives. Great product!

My loved one died in June. It died in July. Out of the box it worked but we thought the "flame" wasn't very bright. Especially as compared with other led "candles" we have. After 3 weeks it was out and we changed the battery assuming it was old or defective. The led candle the was on for another week. At that point new batteries didn't help. We could only get a dim (dimmer) flicker by pushing on the battery cover from below. We bent the battery contacts a little to get better contact but that did not help. We believe the problem was on the other side of the battery compartment. We threw it away a bought a plug in light.

When you need to change the battery, you’ll see a tab to open the battery compartment. But you might not initially notice that it is SCREWED shut with the tiniest Philips screw I have ever seen. I used tweezers to unscrew the screw. Then used the tweezers to screw it back again. It has to be screwed fairly tight for the battery to make the connection. Then it works fine. It comes with a CR2023 battery.

I really like this as I don’t want actual lit candles in my house while sleeping or when nobody is home. Only problem, it’s pretty small. Maybe the size of a large shot glass

Safe product. I sleep better when I don’t have a live fire in my home overnight.
