Bestop 5258435 Black Diamond Safari Style Bikini Top for 2010-2018 Wrangler JK Unlimited (Non-Cable Style)

I have a 2014 JK 4door. Very easy to install. I did not want to cut into my roll bar padding, so I added two ball bungees on each side. Worked fine on the interstate. The middle clips attach to the edge of the holes on the sound bar where the roof screws go in the middle. Yes, you need the windshield channel. I got one on EBay a lot cheaper ($40) Bestop 5124301 No-Drill Header Windshield Channel for 2007-2018 Wrangler JK. It says 2door, but it works for 4door, too. That was a little confusing, but watch the YouTube video and it will help a little…very little. Eyeballing it helped more, really. Try putting it on first before you add the top and you’ll see it easier probably.

Love this--great product--durable, looks great, and really functional. The only downside, which is most likely not preventable, is the fact that in heavier rain, it will puddle in the middle of the top. I cannot see how this could be overcome without cross-straps, or bars that would make installation and removal even less friendly. Overall, great product, and I am glad we made the purchase to give ourselves more protection from elements with the top off but still allow us the open-air Jeeping experience.

This top is very easy to install, looks great, should be durable. Note this top will not keep rain from leaking in the sides. It fits my needs very well.

Finally got good enough weather to install the top. Pros: easy to install with no help. Seems to be great quality. Looks like it will keep our heads dry. Cons: The straps it comes with to attach to the back are way too short! I had to wrap it into my straps for my cargo net to keep it in place. Which did work for under 40mph.

I have the extended version on my Wrangler Unlimited (4-door). I changed the strap for the rear clips (behind the passenger seats, not the rear-most) to be one strap that crosses underneath and connects left-to-right rather than each to the metal below. Well positioned and tightened, I had no problem cruising with this top, doorless, at 70MPH+ on the interstate.

I've had it for about 2 weeks.. the only reason I'm writing a review this early is we just had a good rain and my entire inside was DRY.. no leaking down the inside doors... etc.. I have the factory soft top door surrounds on which is a must for this top to fit correctly. I also have the bestop cargo cover on and it held all the rain out also. I was expecting some to get though but it was very dry. The rain was straight down, not much wind, which help the back area to stay so dry. Their were two fairly large puddles of water on top of the jeep both front and rear areas, the puddles formed more on the drivers side in the front and in the middle in the back. Other likes, no flapping and it fits very well. I am very happy with it. I gave it a 4/5 since I don't give to many items a 5. meaning there could be some design improvements. Maybe an added strap above the rear doors and one in rear middle section.. this would really tighten the fit, but without those it fits very good. I am using the recommend Bestop windchannel header 51243-01. I can compare this to a JK Bestop TrekNX top while only in the bikini use, and it fits as good or better (better in the rear area) and with the factory top while having no windows installed on the top up. I like this bikini top better since it doesn't have the rear panels coming down clamped to the rear corner panels which do end up flapping at highway speeds. Factory top and this bikini top have their own purpose.. Amazon had a great price.

I didn’t find any need to cut any holes in rear roll bar padding. Just unzipped padding and then zipped up partially and it looks great!

Love my jeep top! Looks great! Not a lot of road noise, I was expecting more flapping, it does not. Lots of wind and sun protection. The air condo timing even works fest with the open back. It gets 110 when I live in the summer.

Excellent product, with good quality, fit and finish. Will keep the rain off your head, but keep in mind the back of the vehicle is still open. Installs in about 20-30 minutes.

This does not come with the front header bar that is needed ! No mention of it in top page of description and I was able to buy both pieces for the same price their selling just the bikini for on here from another source
