I actually bought this a year ago 😬 bought to cool down a brown dye that turned my hair a very warm brown which worked. Then put it in the cupboard and forgot about it as in the end I just decided to keep the warmth as it suited me better in the warmer months (because of my tan). In December decided I was going to stop dying my hair and let the silver strands grow out. Needed something to keep the warmth from the dyed hair at bay as my hair grows, remembered this so got it out the cupboard and been using it again. One bonus that I’ve noticed is that it actually has made my really silver hair more of a gunmetal grey which is making them less noticeable against my natural black strands, which in turn is making the grow out process less noticeable so it’s helped make me feel less self conscious about it. As someone who has been dying my hair, regularly, since 13/14 and I’m soon to turn 40 this has been a big (surprise) bonus for me. It does dry my hair out a little bit but my conditioner rectifies this so my hair is still left soft, smooth, and easy to manage. Great quality for an excellent price. A must have in my opinion, especially for dark haired women who are wanting to grow out their moonlights.

Works slightly better than purple shampoo alone. I dye my own hair and sometimes need a hand getting the roots right! This product is VERY good. For me, personally, no purple streaks - only silvery hair after one use (see photos). I painted it on in layers, onto my dry hair, and left for 10 minutes. Really pleased 💜🖤.

Have very porous hair. A lot of highlights too. After reading reviews, I was a little nervous trying this shampoo. I definitely did not want green or blue tinged hair especially at the ends (I have experienced this previously with a different brand). I washed hair with this shampoo and rinsed immediately then conditioned my hair with my regular conditioner. After drying my hair, I could definitely see a slight ashy tinge. Nothing substantial but very subtle. Glad I didn’t leave the shampoo on. However, now that I know how it reacts on my own hair I feel I can experiment. I tend to get a lot more brassiness in the back of my hair especially when I lift my hair up so will perhaps focus in this area first, leave on for a few minutes, then quickly shampoo the rest of my hair and rinse. I would recommend but advise to be cautious on the first application and adapt the waiting time accordingly

Lovely conditioner. Has a great smell and neutralises any of the brassy tones. Just be careful not to splash it onto any lightly coloured fabrics.

Made my hair look yellowish after second use. Used a clarifying shampoo to remove. Doubtful I will use again.

This is brilliant to use as a temporary toner. You only need a really small amount to cancel out yellow and brass. Only downside is it can be a bit drying so I would advice not to use on chemically damaged hair as it will not help as it may make your look much more dry and distressed of already damaged. But it’s so effective if your hair quality is good, sadly I had to stop using after my hair got damaged

Use this with the conditioner & really works for me. Much better than any of the other ‘purple’ ones.
