How many elements and in what pattern? Our presto has no element in middle leaving cold spot. Bacon gets cooked on edges first and not in middle.

There are no visible heating elements, but there does not seem to be any cold spots. It cooks great and I am very happy with it.

I don't know about India...but you would need an adapter to use in Europe. This is standard USA electrical.
