mCover Hard Shell Case for 15-inch Microsoft Surface Book 2/3 Computer (Blue)

The top of my Surface Book 2 (SB2) was getting marked when used as a tablet and being pushed across a desk to and from other people. This cover is perfect for protecting it against any more scratch marks. The numerous 1-star reviews almost put me off by suggesting that it was made of some cheap, inferior plastic, so I checked with the supplier. It is made of Polycarbonate, an immensely tough plastic used for many engineering applications and, for example, in racing car windscreens or face masks. If you do a search for polycarbonate and its comparison with other plastics you should find: "Acrylic is shinier and Polycarbonate is stronger. Acrylic is less expensive but easier to crack. Polycarbonate is more impact resisant but easier to scratch. They are both stronger and lighter than untempered glass; acrylic is 4x to 8x stronger than glass, while polycarbonate is about 200x stronger." In summary, I am very happy with my purchase. It was easy to put on and the price (at less than 1.8% of the price of my SB2) is reasonable for what it does. If in doubt, research your plastics before being discouraged by the 1-star reviews.

It does what it says of the tin, the built quality is nothing to snuff at, the fit is stug, all the ports are accessible with the exception of the power cable, it only for in one way now, down towards the keyboard, not much a problem for me. Though BEWARE, this isn't a fault of the product but Surface Books ARE known to get hot, especially with there almost useless cooling, so somewhat expect as case to not exactly help that. In my 'case', figuratively and literally, it does, I've added holes to the back (where the Windows logo sits) to allow airflow AND have recently added a usb fan via velcro, over said holes. Sad I have to do this but hey, to save a £1400 machine from blowing up, I'd say it's worth it 👍 Edit: Oh, and it makes you Surface Book look AWESOME, soo snazzy! The feet, I thought, would be a throwaway thought, turns out they aren't, they're actually pretty damn good, a great purchase.

Fits perfectly fine on my 13.5" Surface Book 2, however quality isn't too great, and is overpriced, but will do until another alternative comes on the market

This was £25 so it was a bit steep, but there's nothing else on the market that looked like this. I have to say it's well worth the price for a product that isn't that widespread. It gives it an original iMac kinda look, and it's given my scratched & dented surface book a good new look & durability.

Once fitted (carefully as it is fragile when mounting, this is the best cover for the surface as it's super stylish, sturdy and only serves to compliment the device!

Its really expensive for a plastic cover. It may help from scratches.

Love the new cover for my Microsoft Surface book. Arrived in great time. Perfect fit. Really slimline. Looks amazing and works so well with the case I also ordered from Amazon. I love orange and now my computer looks great in its new cover.

Summary: Great quality, design/look, price, protection, and customer service. Quality/Protection: Amazing protection! After a few months of heavy college use, this thing is in great shape & so is my laptop. Only complaint I can see is that it doesn't provide protection for the foldy area, so buy something like a Dbrand skin if your concerned. Fit: It fits my 15" Surface Book 2 excellently! Snaps into place and has firm tabs holding it snug. Because I wanted to experiment with the different colors, I've ordered like 3 of these things and each of them fit perfectly. I don't think fit is a legitimate issue. Airflow: Yes it impedes airflow... does it matter? No. Been using it heavily for months and only have an issue with heat when gaming. So when I game I just pop the thing off CAREFULLY. I've done this tons of times and it hasn't broken and still fits great. Colors: Very happy with both the blue and red colors! Wish I could have kept both, or it was possible to mix colors. (See pictures) Legs & Customer Service: Surprisingly very sturdy and provide an excellent angle... but as with all items that have folding legs/stands, I broke the legs on this thing. Accidentally leaned on it with my body weight and snapped one of them off. Was really upset, but I decided to go ahead and contact the seller about a replacement. To my surprise they were kind enough to provide we with a free pair as well as a link to where it is possible to buy replacement legs!

Fits for MS Surface Book 3, 13,5" So I have MS Surface Book 3 in size 13,5" and although it doesn't mention the fit for this one it totally does fit like a glove on it. Easy to install (okay, had to think for one corner and fitting of the top piece) and seems pretty good to me. Came from France, made in China, got it today from the post (delivered in given estimation) and we shall see the durability with time. I mainly wanted to get a little bit of extra cover for my Surface Book 3 and this seems to fill that desire just perfectly. Could've attached pics for this but came to the conclusion that my pics would've looked terrible so I chose to skip and hope my review will help someone with their pondering.

I love this manufacturer as I purchased their products a couple of months ago for my Lenovo ThinkPad t495s. I decided to purchase their case for my Surface Book 2 13.5" core i7 and I am disappointed that it doesn't fit. I double checked the measurements on my surface book 2 with the measurements listed in the description and it doesn't fit. The two front clips on the side of the laptop near the trackpad are about three or so millimeters off.
