Not sure...
I bought this product about a year ago because my charging port got damaged and the connectors wouldn't connect to the cable anymore... after installing this product everything worked good except it would never hold a continuous connection with when transferring data so I had to do things chunks at a time... but the real problem is when you try to update through iTunes or any other app, it seems to lose connection causing updates to fail... my phone is a brick right now less than a year later because of that since the phone just died in a middle of charge and I can't even fix it using the charging port... i get error 75 and have tried several perfect data cables... maybe I just got a defective item...

Defective charging port
This replacement charging port didnโt work, this aftermarket products is defective. It caused the iPhone to shut down and reboot due to a defective barometric pressure sensor.
