Works okay. Some disappointing issues.
It looked like a drop in replacement for my previous DVR which died. Then I tried to set it up via the android app. There's zero ability to adjust the date/time and I don't live in the GMT time zone. But it was easy to get working and there were no issues viewing locally or remotely. But then none of the cameras were being recorded. I figured the HD must have died so I swapped it out for the other one I was using with my previous DVR (which reminds me, some jerk with Zosi decided to save $0.05 and not to populate the 2nd SATA port) but the 2nd hard drive didn't seem to work either. The app had no clues as to the issue. So I downloaded the windows app. On windows 11 with a recent laptop, it did not display correctly until I messed with the compatibility settings but it was no help - no other options for date/time or HD/recording. I finally resigned myself to dragging an old monitor out of my basement and hooked it up. All the missing options were there - date/time/timezone, hard drive info (including the ability to format which mine apparently needed), and lots of other options. A little disappointed that the email alerts require inputting your own smtp server info instead of using the zosi cloud. Now that it's finally set up, it seems to be working fine. But the android and windows apps need their capabilities expanded greatly.
