Wie üblich, können mit diesen OBD2-Geräten mit wenigen (teureren) Ausnahmen nur die Motordaten und Fehler ausgelesen werden, keine anderen Steuergeräte wie ABS, Airbag etc. Hier kann man auch noch den Batteriestatus kontrollieren und die O2-Sonde testen. Nach den Bedeutungen der Fehlercodes muß man nicht im Netz suchen, man bekommt diese angezeigt. Wichtig ist es, daß Gerät nur bei ausgeschalteter Zündung an- und abzustecken und nach Abschluß der Tätigkeit das Fahrzeug im Menü zu verlassen. Es gibt Steuergeräte, die den Ausstieg durch trennen der Kabelverbindung unter Umständen übel nehmen können. Ein praktisches und zuverlässiges Gerät, nicht nur für Hobby-Schrauber.
