Great after-sales service experience
After working with a C20 for eleven months, it stopped working due to some unknown reason. I went to the official website to fill out a form to report the problems I encountered. Their technical support, Owen, promptly replied to me and, after extremely quick troubleshooting, arranged for an exchange for me. They also extended my warranty period (as my order is about to end its one-year warranty period). Great experience with the after-sales service of AV Access.

Great solution, and adaptable to non-standard setups.
I needed a KVM switch to drive x3 monitors from both a work laptop and a Mac Studio. The product info says that the D23 only works with desktops and DP connections, so I was a little reticent to purchase, but took the chance. On arrival it didn't work - only two monitors and many peripherals not connecting. I emailed the AV Access team who came back to me within 24 hours with solutions. (For those with similar setups: 1/ connecting the D23's USB-B inputs to the computers (cable supplied) in addition to the DP inputs solved the peripherals issue, and 2/ to resolve the issue with the monitor connected through HDMI, I replaced my passive DP>HMDI cable, with a ยฃ25 Startech active DP>HDMI adaptor). Now everything works - and it's amazing! Being able to switch at a click of a button all three monitors (+audio adaptor/mic +webcam +Stream deck +prompter) is game-changing. The device itself has a high build quality, and looks nice on my desk. I may still invest in the clicker button. The service from AV Access was quick and friendly (thanks Johnny and James). I got the feeling that they genuinely cared to solve my issue, and was left in no doubt that if not resolved there would be no problem returning the item.

Good enough
The product arrived quickly, is well packaged, and provides a good selection of ports and for USB, ethernet, and sound. Its purpose is to switch between Windows and Linux laptops: switching is fast, with screens and peripherals reconnecting in between 5 and 10s depending on number of connected items. So far, after a couple of weeks, it appears to be reliable without any screen blanking, overheating or need to reset it. Some things to consider: in Windows, it is very easy to hit the USB resource limit for a single controller with just two screens, webcam, speaker, mouse, and ethernet. In Linux (KDE/Wayland), the order of the two HDMI ports is not presented consistently. In both, it is better not to connect the laptop to the docking station until after it's booted, otherwise you will get an essentially random set of connected devices being presented to the computer. Overall, good for its price, but could be just a little better.

Supports ultra wide monitors
Just arrived yesterday and Iโm already very impressed. It does everything it says it would, plus one or two things it didnโt say it could! The switching is seamless, the elimination of window resizing, sharing of peripherals - including a bluetooth mouse that is now shared across all devices (connected to the unifying receiver plugged into the Dock). One thing the product description doesnโt tell you is that it will support an ultra wide monitor at 3440 x 1440. I was forced into buying a new hub after my old one died, and now I wish Iโd had a 2 laptop hub a long time ago. Well done AV Access ๐

Dishonest company, useless for Macโs, so many glitches.
Update Iโve been communicating with support who have quite openly stated that this device doesnโt work with Apple laptops. Funnily enough thereโs no disclaimer of that on their product pages, because why tell people something isnโt fit for purpose when you can become with hundreds of pounds. โ Macs donโt sleep, so youโre constantly powering them, getting notifications, etc. confirmed no fix for this. VRR works direct to the monitor but not when using the kvm. They say it works. Not with their cables or 5 others. USB c speeds are pants with their cables and others. It gets quite warm, and given it never sleeps god knows how much it costs. It doesnโt allow a monitor to go into energy saving mode. If youโre a Mac user you definitely shouldnโt buy this. If youโre a windows / Linux user Iโd remain sceptical. Itโs been an expensive lesson in beta testing for a company who didnโt present accurate info and was happy to take Money for a product that isnโt at all what is advertised.

Works with Dell Latitude 5530 but not with Thinkpad T580
This appears to be the only choice for a KVM docking station which delivers power to two laptops simultaneously and does not require installation of a DisplayLink driver. As stated in the description, when connected to an ultrawide monitor with a 5120 ร 1440 display, the output is limited to 3840 ร 1080. This is a bit strange when a laptop can deliver 5120 x 1440 when connected directly to the monitor with an HDMI cable. Selecting 3840 x 1080 gives a rather fuzzy output, so I chose to run this with two 2560 x 1440 connections in PBP mode on the monitor. This worked fine with a Dell Latitude 5530 laptop. However, I could not get it to work with my personal Thinkpad T580 with integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620. The second HDMI output was limited to 1280x800. The AVAccess online chat technical support were very responsive in making suggestions, but there was no way we could get it to work. Moreover, charging and graphics output with the T580 became intermittent. I have therefore returned the item, and will just have to forgo the convenience of switching laptops at the press of a button. Moreover, I can get full 5120 x 1440 from the T580 with my old Lenovo dock, and directly from the Latitude 5530, which is better than 3840 ร 1080 or PBP mode with the dock.

A near perfect device to switch multiple screens and USB devices
Since covid, I must have tried every permutation to get a convenient home working setup that easily switches between a work PC and home mac. Every solution to date has had compromises that niggle on a daily basis. Finally I have a working setup with 3 * 24" IPS screens, webcam, wireless headset, wireless keyboard and wireless mouse that switch between a mac mini and work laptop with a single button. All inputs and outputs are to the back of the switch box and I've got multiple devices connecting in via an unpowered USB hub so this keeps the desk environment uncluttered and cable free. To make the user experience even better, switching is possible via keyboard shortcuts. I could move the switch box out of sight but it's handy to have USB sockets on the desk for occasional keyboard/phone charging. The only thing that would make this better is if all video connections were HDMI. If you don't have displayport connectors on your source device (or in the case of the mac mini, the third output device needs to be USB), most converter cables are directional and in the wrong way. Whether you're looking to get a mac or work laptop connected to 3 displays, a USBC hub with 3 displayport connectors appears to be a good solution. Have found HDMI to displayport cables (both powered and unpowered) to be unreliable.

USB issues, mostly OK display connection
Pros: * Connected USB devices seem to be working well. * Comes with all the cables required to set it up, all decent quality. * The optional remote looks great, and has status LEDs to show which host is active for setups where the KVM itself is hidden from sight. Cons: * The 165Hz 1440p variable refresh rate display started to drop out 2-3 times a week after using the device for roughly a month. * The USB side is a mess. It somes up as a composite device with a bunch of virtual peripherials, but it keeps randomly disconnecting and reconnecting. Luckily it seems this does not affect the connected USB keyboard and mouse. * Their forum contains a thread with the same issue, but there's no resolution there. * Contacted the customer support, they asked me to send the device to them with all accessories, and they've sent me back a new one afterwards. The replacement has the exact same issues.

Solid improvement over previous model
Iโve been using this KVM for a a couple of weeks now multiplexing between 2 monitors and my Windows PC and my Macbook Pro, and overall Iโm pretty happy with it. Hereโs a quick breakdown of my experience so far: Form Factor: - The design is sleek and modern, which I appreciate. It actually looks nice on my desk, unlike a lot of competitor brands out there. At about twice the height of my previous AVAccess KVM (visible on the bottom left in the picture), itโs a little too tall to fit under my desk stand though โ I wish it were just a bit shorter. - One minor annoyance is with the supplied cables โ unplugging the middle or bottom cables is tricky. You have to press a release lock on top of the cable head, but itโs hard to do that without first unplugging the top cables. Features & Performance: - Switching inputs is fast โ faster than my old AVAccess KVM, which is great. There's no flickering so far, which was an issue with some other KVMs Iโve tried - Iโm a fan of all the extra ports: headphone jack, SD card slot, USB ports on the back for a webcam or monitor hub. My old KVM didnโt have a rear USB port, so I had to awkwardly route my webcam wire around the unit. This is a small but really nice improvement for wire management. - One feature I miss: a power button. Itโd be nice to have the option to turn it off without unplugging it. - I haven't had it for very long yet, so time will tell how reliable it is. If it breaks down before the warranty is over, I will definitely update my review with my experience. Compatibility: - Itโs DisplayPort (DP) only if youโre using a laptop, which is a bit of a pain for MacBook users like me. I had to buy some Thunderbolt-to-DP cables. I get why DP was chosen, but it wouldโve been nice if 2-3 adapters were included in the box. - My Apple keyboard works fine in every USB slot except the dedicated USB 1.1 keyboard slot. It worked fine in the USB 1.1 port on my older AVAccess KVM. Sometimes I have to play USB port roulette a few times to get it to connect properly. - Occasionally, it seems to interfere with my WiFi. Even though Iโm not using the Ethernet port, Iโve had to restart my computer or switch inputs back and forth to get my connection back. - One more downgrade from the previous model: no dedicated mic input port this time. Not a dealbreaker, but something I noticed. Overall, this is a really solid KVM switch with a lot of thoughtful improvements over my previous model.

Great KVM if you deal with laptops at work.
Received my package quickly from Amazon. I do have another AV Access device called the iDockB30 but it's good for two desktops and a laptop and I wanted the one that can connect to two laptops to have as my work keyboard-video-mouse (KVM). It's easy to set up. Just two USB-C cables that go to the corresponding ports on the back of the iDockC20 and power. The other ends of the USB-C cables will go to the respective laptops. I'm a big Lenovo ThinkPad fan so I have a ThinkPad T14 Gen 5 AMD from my work and a ThinkPad P14s Gen 5 AMD as my personal daily driver. Turned on the unit and works well. Though the T14 had a little issue connecting but once I rebooted it worked fine. I'm able to press the switch on the docking unit to switch between the two with no issue. Looking over the build it looks solid, and the ports are labeled clearly so you know what device to plug into what. There are a decent number of ports in the back and the SD card reader is convenient to have since at my work place, I sometimes need to use the cards to read any external data. I tested out the network connectivity between the two by switching and it doesn't seem to lose the connection which is nice. Since the power distribution is 60W I would only recommend the KVM for use on business class laptops like the Lenovo ThinkPads. It would be advisable that if you are going to be connecting a gaming laptop on it like a Asus Strix G16 or a Lenovo Legion i7 having USB-C ports it will provide enough power if you plan to game on it. I would only use it for productivity work. I hope the next iteration of the USB-C ports on the docking unit will be like USB 4 or Thunderbolt 4/5 but for right now it suits to what I need to it do at my workplace. I do have dual monitors, and they worked great on them. No issue whatsoever since the monitors I have are 27-inch 1080P and a 32-inch 1440P. I have used it for quite a number of days, and I personally like the device. It is working great so far for me and does what I need it to do. Since I do IT work, I like the fact that I can plug in a second laptop and run through items without having to plug in a monitor etc.

Switch between Samsung S20, which uses DEX and my laptop
I have a Samsung S20, which uses DEX. I switch between my laptop and phone all the time. The biggest reason is that Google Photos on my mobile does better editing than on the desktop.

Flawless Switching & Excellent Performance!
I compared several KVM switches before finally choosing this one. It lets me switch my peripherals and monitors between two computers with a single click. The dual-monitor setup works perfectly, and it has plenty of ports, making it super convenient to plug in devices and connect directly via Ethernet. The power supply is sufficient, and the price-to-performance ratio is spot on. I really love it.
