5/5 Stars, always.
I’ve been a big supporter of CMF by Nothing for a while now. My first purchase was back in late 2023 when I bought the original CMF Buds. I had just switched from AirPods, and I was honestly blown away by how good they were for the price. They sounded great, were comfortable, and became my daily earbuds for almost two years. Eventually I lost one of them, so I decided it was time for an upgrade and picked up the CMF Buds 2a. Once again, Nothing delivered. The sound quality was excellent, and they held up incredibly well. I even accidentally jumped into a pool with one earbud still in my pocket, and it continued working perfectly afterward. As someone who works in lawn care and landscaping, my earbuds get used hard every day, so durability is important to me. My only real complaints with the 2a were the battery life and the noise cancellation occasionally cutting in and out. This week I upgraded to the CMF Buds Pro 2, and they’ve exceeded my expectations. They updated within minutes of taking them out of the box, they’re extremely comfortable, lightweight, and almost disappear once they’re in my ears. I chose the blue color because it had the fastest shipping, but it’s also a nice change after only owning white and black earbuds. The Nothing X app is excellent, and the Pro 2 have noticeably more features than the previous models. Adaptive noise cancellation has been especially useful while I’m working, and the Bluetooth connection has been very reliable even at longer distances. Over the past few years, CMF by Nothing has consistently impressed me with the value they offer. I’ve had a great experience across multiple generations of their earbuds, and I plan to keep using their products in the future.

Quite amazed for the price -- great sound, connectivity and features!
I don't write many reviews, but for the price and sound quality, these are an excellent value for me, and I wanted to share my experience. First off, this is a review from an iPhone user. While I like all the extra features Apple's proprietary chips offer, I'm not a huge fan of the way that AirPod Pros fit (or the price). My favorite pair of Bluetooth buds of all time was a pair of Beats Fit Pro. I'm a pretty active person, and I enjoyed the wings that fit well in my ears, and the sound was pretty lively and fun. Those lasted a couple of years, but once they went kaput, I thought I’d try some other brands (as an Apple subsidiary, Beats are pretty expensive as well). I have had three pairs of Nathing Ear buds over the past year—not because they broke, but rather because I regularly lose buds in parking lots and next to gym machines. They sounded great, but I didn’t feel like the noise cancellation was the best, and there is sometimes a lag in connecting to my phone. They also have a strange ‘watery’ streaming sound with certain types of music, especially music with distorted guitars. After losing my third earbud in a row, I needed a new pair of buds, and I ended up reading some reviews of these CMFs. As someone who is already partially in the Nothing ecosystem, I liked what I read about the features and really liked the price. I am not disappointed at all by these buds. The sound quality and isolation are excellent, and they connect to my phone right away. Noise cancellation seems much better than my Nothing Ears. I listen to a lot of rock, EDM, jazz, and podcasts, and they sound great with all genres, whereas the Nothings seemed to struggle with rock. Many buds have harsh treble, but these are clear without having a piercing top end. The bass is pretty pronounced, so I don’t even turn on the extra bass settings. I do miss the custom sound profiles of the Nothings, but the tuning out of the case is really enjoyable to my ears. I’ve put these through a lot of scenarios over the past couple of weeks, including biking, jogging, mowing the lawn, going on walks, taking short calls and doing chores around the house. They’ve been great in every situation. The only issue I've run into is that they seem to have a shorter range than earbuds with Apple chips, as they cut out when I was playing basketball and got a little far away from my iPhone. For most people and scenarios, I really don't think this will be a problem. Also, the fit is secure—not as good as my Beats Fit Pros, but they don’t slip unless I get incredibly sweaty. For the price, I can’t really complain. A few years ago, I think most $40 earbuds sounded quite flat with crummy battery life and connectivity issues, so it’s amazing how far we’ve come. Plus, the Nothing app is really easy to use. The case has cool functionality that I haven’t really explored, but it’s nice to have the options. The case is a smudge magnet, but for 40 bucks, that’s not really a big deal, either. I bought the blue ones, but the orange color looks really nice to me as well. I would recommend these for people in almost any scenario, from work to exercise to just enjoying music or podcasts at home.

Comparison with entry level CMF Buds
I ordered these CMF Buds Pro 2 as well as the original CMF Buds so I could compare them and decide if the moderately higher price of the Buds Pro 2 was worth it. TLDR: The Buds Pro 2 provide a noticeably superior experience and are easily worth the extra money if you have a discerning ear. I am an audiophile who worked in the home theater industry for several years, including installing and calibrating home audio systems for authentic and dynamic music reproduction. I care about accurate sound reproduction and clarity, but I also enjoy dynamic sound that I can feel. I always want to experience the full range of sounds present in a recording. So that's my baseline as I evaluate the ear buds. The original CMF Buds sound good, with punchy bass and no distortion, but it was difficult to get the right balance of mids and highs that provide crystal clear sound without it getting too tinny. In contrast, the Buds Pro 2 provide great bass while also providing clear mids and highs without being harsh or tinny. Bass is good in both products, but again, the Buds Pro 2 come out on top because they can provide bass without getting muddy. The bass is there, but it does not overpower the mids or highs. Spatial Audio on the Buds Pro 2 does a good job of creating a better sound stage. It really does put you in the middle of the music and it enhances the space between the left and right audio tracks. It also enhances the clarity of the audio. Listening to "Take 5" by the Dave Brubeck quartet is a joy on the Buds Pro 2 and hearing the difference with spatial audio on vs off highlights the virtues of Spatial Audio. The original Buds do not support Spatial Audio, so this is a clear advantage of the Buds Pro 2. Noise Cancelling is good on both, with the Buds Pro 2 providing a higher level of noise cancellation. I am not often in noisy environments, so I can't comment on the differences between these two products. The one thing I can comment on is the clarity of the Transparency mode. With the original buds I tried turning on clarity mode while at work and having a conversation with coworkers. My coworkers sounded muffled and my voice sounded to me like I was wearing earplugs. It was not a good experience. However, with the Buds Pro 2 the transparency mode works really well. I can still tell I have my ear buds in, but I can easily hear others and my own voice is only slightly annoying coming through the ear buds. :) Call clarity is good on both. I could hear the other person very well, and they said I sounded good. I don't take many calls with the ear buds, but so far I have not noticed any differences in any aspect of the call quality. The case click-wheel on the Buds Pro 2 is really enjoyable to use. As I wear the ear buds at my desk in my office job, I often use the click-wheel to adjust the volume, play/pause my music, and switch between noise cancelling and transparency mode. Each of these functions work well and the tactile feel of the wheel is really satisfying. Bottom Line The Buds Pro 2 and the original Buds are both good products. If you want a solid pair of earbuds and you are a casual user, the original Buds should work well for you. If you are picky about music quality and want to ensure an audio experience that you really enjoy, the Buds Pro 2 are easily worth the extra money.

Amazing ear buds for the price- not too bassy, great battery life, and definitely worth it
I bought these for $59 and they are still 100% worth it (they're going for $39 now). I use them at work and at home mainly. The reason I bought these was because my old linkbuds S suddenly started draining battery in an hour- turns out it's a known issue and sony refuses to fix it. So I bought these and gave them a try The noise cancelling is not the best BUT they are $39 and it is respectable. You just might have to increase the volume a bit more if people are talking loudly, etc. For my use case, it's perfectly fine since I don't really use them in transit and I haven't really tested them that much on public transit, on a plane, etc. I mainly drive around now, and if I were to fly somewhere I think I would use my sony xm4 over ear headphones anyways. The sound quality is good, I wanna say not as good as my old linkbuds S but still good. I was worried when buying them that people said they would be too bassy, but with a completely reasonable EQ, they are great and I'm not a huge bass person but I do appreciate a bit of bass. It would be nice if we could change the EQ with more than just 3 controls, but it's good enough I guess. They are pretty comfortable, but they do slip out a little from movement sometimes. When this happens, you might notice slightly worse audio quality and you have to readjust them. Also if you accidentally fold the tip, it will sound terrible and you just have to put it back to normal (sorry don't know how else to describe this). It's a completely normal thing, not an issue. One plus side is that I have literally never had these die. I've been using them for 6 months and not once has an earbud reached 0% in my use case. I just charge the case around once a week without really thinking about it and have never had to worry about battery.

Punches above it's weight class
The earbuds are awesome - great sound, good battery life, decent ANC. It has a small pocketable case - the smart dial's very customizable. It has a nice feeling to it - you might use it as a toy. It's a product that punches well above it's weight class. It's DIRAC opteo sound preset with ultra base turned off gives it a rich taste with a big sound stage. You will definitely come to enjoy the Nothing X app too - beautifully designed and easy to use. The buds' controls are highly customizable using this app. But I was so close to returning it because of the "fit", but I didn't. I have small ears. It fits in my ear but it started to hurt after a few minutes. I tried different ear tips it came with but that didn't solve the issue. So I ended up swapping it with tips from a wired headset I own and it solved the problem for me. But now I can't place the buds in the case with the tips on. But this might not be an issue to majority.

OMG! Bass that will blow your socks off! Do not waste your money on anything else!
Okay, first I must start by saying that I don't normally leave reviews unless a product is absolutely horrible or100% amazing and these are the later. OMG!!! I read a lot of reviews before deciding on these. I have owned everything from skull candies, anker soundcores, Samsung buds 2 pros and several more in-between. In my humble opinion these are THE earbuds to buy, period! So to I am going to try to cover the gamuet as quickly as possible. ANC is good, there are probably better out there but I probably couldn't tell enough difference to justify paying more. Transparency mode is probably average but plenty good enough for me to be able to talk to people if I need to without taking them out. Connectivity overall has been good with a couple of hiccups, but only time will tell if there will be any major issues. And finally, the really good part, the sound. If you really like bass these are for you! And since these have dual drivers similar to the Samsung buds 4 pros the highs are really good too. When I connected these to my computer and useing a really good sound equalizer OMG! The bass will blow your socks off when properly adjusted. I have 2 15" Kicker Comp Rs in my vehicle and anyone who is an audiophile would know that I like my bass. These can sound like a subwoofer in your ear, no joke. Beware these can cause hearing damage if not careful. I have found out the hard way, but I like it lol! When using them with your phone simply use the xeq app and adjust to your liking. Do not waste your money on anything else, these are the ticket right here. I can't express in words how highly I recommend these! Hope this helps!

Best budget earbuds and sound like airpods
Just tested them out at my workplace, and they are amazing. I work at a meat market so I love how I can pause my music or podcast at any time by pressing the dial through my pocket. I found the “stay aware” mode a little bit lacking at high volumes, but I balanced this out by having low volumes. The app is a 10/10 and is better than other earbud brands. The Nothing X app feels tailored to the earbuds and the spatial audio blew my mind when I turned it on. Battery lasted most of the day on one earbud but I had to swap to the other but is perfect for my 12 hour shift. Amazing quality I did not expect from $50.

Good - But defective
The quality of the earbuds are good for the price, the noise cancelling feature is not as good as sony wf-1000xm4 or xm5 but they do a 6/10 job the passive noise cancelling from the earbuds being inside of the ear is great due to the fit not overly bulky. The case is standout out feature it slim bit wider but flatter than most wireless earbuds case so it slips into pants easily. I have not had a issue with its overall size its quite good in that aspect, the earbuds sound like 7/10 not the best or the worst but they have a app to fine tune them but not a mircale worker. The reason why i give this item three stars despite being a solid pair of earbuds is that the earbuds didnt even last a year a pair of sound peats lasted longer and where cheaper and where on pair on quality the soundpeats p30i. The issue i had with the earbuds within the 6months of ownership connectivity became the issue.
