MesoLyft Lips 5 ML (5 ML) Lip Plumper review After the first two uses I was about to give this item a terrible review because I could not get the lip balm to come out when I pumped it. Now I know that I did not give it enough pumps to get it primed enough to distribute on the rolling wheel with the little barbs on it. The third time when I used it the mango butter easily came out and onto the wheel and it all made sense. There is not any taste or smell that I can detect. The mango butter feels wonderful on my lips. The barbs do not hurt when you roll over your lips. I don’t press hard because that probably would hurt some. Now after several more uses I like this product very much and am glad I get to try it. I am uncertain whether I will continue after my applicator is empty (simply because of the price) but for now I am enjoying this product and depending on how long it will last will determine whether I will repurchase because I really do like how my lips feel after using. This is probably the longest lasting lip balm I have ever worn and does make my lips look and feel really nice.

I was very interested in trying this because I do use derma rollers on my skin and wanted to see how this would work on my lips. The roller tip has microneedles that will cause the lips to plump a bit. Getting the product out of the tube is a bit of an effort but once I got everything working, I've decided I don't care for it because I'm concerned about causing a bacterial infection in my lips. With the derma roller I use on my skin, I sanitize it with alcohol after each use and allow it to air dry completely before using it again. That is impossible to do with this lip pen. The human mouth is filled with bacteria and it would be difficult to avoid transferring that to the microneedle lip roller. The product is dispensed while using the roller so any bacteria/saliva in contact with it with roll around to where the product leaves the container. An example of this would be running water out of a pull out faucet handle and dropping it down into a dirty mop bucket to add hot water. This could cause bacteria to find its way inside the faucet and contaminate the clean water source. Cross contamination is what this is called and my concern with this lip product. Perhaps I'm simply too much of a germaphobe.

This stuff is not what I was hoping for. To begin with, it's hard to even get this out of the tube. Also, while the little needles on the rollers are supposed to plump up the lips, they didn't do a think for me. If this was not a freebie, I would be sending it back for a refund.

Of course, this device will not make it look as if you just had your lips injected with filler, but they do temporarily give them more life and plump them up a bit and get them red. I'm willing to bet with regular use over time the microneedling will help with overall appearance. I can definitely feel the microneedle as I glide the stick on but it doesn't hurt, it's just a little but prickly but it kinda feels goods. Afterward it feels like you put on a hydrating lip oil on your lips.

I guess I'm lucky that I don't need plumper lips, but I always want a good moisturizing lip balm/gloss and if there's an interesting way to dispense it---I'm in! MesoLyft's Lip Plumper has a roller applicator which dispenses the gloss while plumping with very fine microneedles. The gloss is thick & ok. You definitely feel the slight prickling of the needles. I honestly couldn't see any additional plumping, and since the gloss is ordinary...to me this is a basic 3 star item.

I have tried just about every lip plumper out there and never get tired of trying new options in search of the best of the best. I had high hopes for this product after learning more about the brand and what have you--really was hoping it would be a five star plumper. I like the concept of exfoliating and hydrating the lips all in one. I have extremely sensitive skin, especially around the lip area, but thankfully, this caused me zero irritation. I ended up pumping out too much serum my first few tries which felt wasteful so there definitely is an art to getting just the right amount out for application. It feels really good going on and definitely makes my lips look better in the short run. I wore it overnight, but after about the three hour mark, like the product said, it didn't seem to be working anymore...and, it's not like I need to have plump lips while I am sleeping, I just need them to stay super hydrated, but they started feeling dry. So, in the middle of the night, I put on another, more emollient go to lip balm I use to get me through the rest of the night. This is a good, non-irritating product that produces a nice effect on the lips, but it isn't an overnight type of lip product...at least for me it isn't. I would say it is worth trying though because it contains natural, high quality ingredients.

My lips (especially my top lip) have gotten thinner and thinner as time marches on. I was really hoping this could make a noticeable difference, but while it does go on nicely (I like the little 'barbs' on the applicator that help the solution penetrate below the surface) and leaves a nice sheen, I can't see a dramatic plumping effect. Maybe my lips have thinned to the degree that only an Injectable can help. I like the packaging and the ingredients, but for me I need some extra oomph.
