CERAKOTE® Ceramic Glass Coat Protectant - Hydrophobic Automotive Rain Repellant, Long-Lasting and Durable Ceramic Coating, Quick and Easy Application

For the price I couldn't believe how good this works. I will say defintely watch the video on the product listing for help to install, it seems self-explanatory but there are improtant tips on how warm it needs to be, how long to wait and what to look for. It is very easy to install you just need the right conditions. I'd say each box is for one car and one use if you do front and back or even side windows. We have tried special wiper fluid but this is a more permanent solution. Not sure how often I will need to reapply this yet but the prices makes it tolerable. I will be doing this to all of our cars come Spring - so far I just did my teen son's car since its older and he needs all the help he can get! I did not see any residue after using and it is helping with the snow and rain beading off his windshield.

This review is after 5 ½ months of use. I’ve recently noticed that the rain is no longer beading up and sliding off my windshield without the need for wipers as it has been doing. I’ve decided to use my remaining 2 packages to get the water to sheet off like a new application of rainX. I use an extreme cleaning process prior to application. 1. Clean with Dawn dishwater cleaner. 2. Clay bar the surface. 3. Polish glass with an abrasive designed for glass. 4 Final cleaning with 50% isopropyl alcohol. 5. Wash the entire car. I noticed that after this rediculously excessive process the Cerakote had been restored. Super slick with water sheeting off nicely. I will go ahead and do the second application since I had done an outstanding job of cleaning all glass surfaces first thing tomorrow morning with an ambient temperature of 60 – 65°F. Bottom line … excellent product with reasonable cost. It appears that environmental contamination was my only problem. Overall performance is significantly better than Rain X. The water sheeting is not as good but it’s lasting more than 6 months.

I coated the front and back windows of my 21 year old SUV and it turned out great. I had no idea what to expect, but the windows are clean, clear and shed water. I decided to do all the windows on my family's two daily drivers. It has been surprisingly great. I watched a couple videos for instructions, got the claybar mitt from Cerakote for prep, and used Invisible Glass as my cleaner. Took less than an hour per car. Highly recommend.

the window i was able to use this product on looks great but only one of the four coating packs wasn’t bone dry so i was unable to coat all my windows

It's not RainX which you use it once and have to reapply every time. Once this CERAKOTE coated on windshield it protects for a while. I have had it on my windshield now for about a month and it's still shedding water. I highly recommend!

I love this Ceramic Glass Coat Protectant! I also use it on my helmets, splitter, visors and sunglasses once a month as nothing seems to stick and everything is easier to clean! Bottle spray is a very light smooth coat, almost molecular. Easy to wipe off with the included microfiber towel. Easy to use, shines better than paste wax and NO streaking. Takes seconds dry and wipe off after application. Excellent value for the money. 5 out of 5 Stars from a super satisfied customer!

Easy directions to follow! Great value for such an easy to apply and then wait a couple of minutes to dry and wipe off! Water now beads and slides down the windows for better visibility out the windshield! Will buy more

Horrible Horrible Horrible. Been detailing for years. Tried this on windshield last week. ONE night drive in rain and HORRIBLE. Applying it is a joke. A tiny little pad like the ones I wipe my eye glasses with? UH? You wipe it on and in 60 seconds or less the tissue is dry as a bone. MAYBE you get a 1 - 2 ft coverage. A little does NOT go a long way. Windshield was completely stripped before with for decon. This stuff was applied as directed. Results were horrible. Lots of blotchiness, little tiny spots or dots? Had to polish off with wool pad and polish to strip it off. JUST use a decent ceramic coating like from Adams and get enough to do your entire car pluse all glass a few times over for a little extra money. THIS crap, 3 boxes was not enough to do the GLASS on a BMW M550. Do not buy this garbage. Its basicaly a sub-par tissue paper soaked in a bad ceramic liquid. Just buy real ceramic and apply it with a pad without worrying about tissue drying. Its says money back guarantee? How do you return empty bags of crap and get back the time it took to strip it off?
