Well made steel ash pan for open fires.

Is what it says,made well, just not deep enough and no handle to ease out when full of ash, obviously not to be touched without heat proof gloves 🧤 Fits space,light but durable

Perfectly well-made tray at a good price. However, there is general ambiguity over dimensions for ash pans. This is for a 16" grate but measures 11" (which is what I needed) but numbers could be misunderstood.

Nice size for my fire, does the job but the black paint it was laminated with peeled off on first use. Solid item though.

This Ash Pan arrived on time and the size is as stated and looks exactly as it does in the photo. It was reasonably priced and we have a very small fireplace in our new home and this pan fills up quickly and will have to be emptied regularly. We don't use the fire every night so I can't say exactly how often, so if you are looking for a deep tray that will hold a lot of ash and doesn't need emptying regularly, this may not be the one for you.
