Exactly what you expect - a solid, long cable for charging a laptop that easily retracts. Haven't had any mechanical issues so far though keep in mind depending where your charger is the middle puck might end up dangling in the air, putting a bit of stress on the ends of it. So far though no issues and it feels very sturdy.

Never functioned...unboxed it and from brand new, the cord has not retracted. Both sides of the cord also extend at once when you pull either side, which sort of defeats the purpose of the item for me. Now I have a full length 3' cord with a bulky center and a product that I can't fit into the box to return. Will try to get my money back but save yourself the headache and skip this one.

I thought a retractable USB-C cable was such a clever design. My hope is that it would take up less space in my bag and be really tidy. I will say the retractable portion works well, but the entire package is way too large. It's heavy and bulky, especially for only a 3-foot or 6-foot-long cable. Wrapping up my cables neatly is not that difficult, and this did not really save me anything, especially because they did not fit in my normal tech accessory bag. I ended up returning them, but if you're really looking for something retractable, I think that they're well-made. I ended up getting a power bank from Anker with a retractable power cable that is much more useful than these were.

Very poor quality. Similar to other reviews, the USB C metal connection broke with 2 weeks of use. I bought two of these and both had the same issue. Love the concept but can't recommend due to the quality issue.

It's convenient, but broke after 6 months of daily use, I wasn't rough with it all. The tip broke off into my laptop, it was acting strange (disconnecting and reconnecting) before it finally popped off, pretty sketchy... I bought another one because it's so convenient, but if it breaks again so quickly I'll be switching brands (back to a normal cable, no mainstream alternatives exist).

bought 3 in December, 2 are already not working

The retractable cord works well but the "body" is quite heavy and bulkier than I anticipated. Makes the center of the cord droop whenever you're charging something.

Loved it at first but the metal cap on the connector came off after about a month of use
