Great little set. Plastic feels cheap, but it is. But it’s spring loaded and winds in nicely. Colors are bright and changeable. It recharges quickly and lasts a long time thanks to the LEDs. And there’s a small hook (not as helpful) and a magnet. They stay in our camper. Recommend.

I really like these lights. They’re bright, easy to use, and the string lights look really nice at night. I also like that everything rolls up into one small light, so it’s easy to store and carry. Great for camping or even the backyard.

These are my favorite thing to take camping! They add such a cozy vibe to every camp site, and are so easy to use. The length is perfect for stringing up a tent or a campfire setting. I have three because I love them so much!

Great idea, but the battery life became a dealbreakerI really wanted to like this light. We camp often and love having string lights around camp. We’ve used simple battery-powered fairy lights for years, and even those will run for 20 hours on 3 AAA batteries, so I was excited to find something that seemed like a upgrade at a decent price.There is a lot to like about the design. It’s compact, you get over 32 feet of lights, and everything winds up neatly into its own case. We took it on its first camping trip and it was great. We used it for three nights without needing to recharge it.Unfortunately, the second trip was a completely different experience. We were camping for three nights in an area without power, and this time the light barely lasted about three hours. It was especially disappointing because after the first trip went so well, we had planned on using this as our primary light around camp.I initially thought maybe we hadn’t fully charged it before leaving. When we got home, I charged it completely and tested it again in the house. Within a couple of hours, the battery was dead. This was just using the basic white light mode, nothing special that I would expect to drain the battery unusually fast.Maybe we received a defective unit, because the difference between the first trip and every use since has been dramatic. I really wanted to love this product because the design is perfect for camping, but a rechargeable camp light needs to hold a reliable charge, especially when you’re somewhere without access to power.

I originally gave a one star review and now have brought it back up to four stars.I bought this light and used it during camping and afterward in my home with my kids. It worked great (my other camper friends--all more serious campers than me--were impressed by it) and was delightful to use until one day shortly thereafter, I found that it wouldn't charge. I would plug it into my USB-C charger, but the blue charging lights wouldn't blink, nor would any lights come on. So I came on here, heartbroken, to complain with my one star review.Ogery was very quick and attentive with responding to my review and asking to make it right. I very much appreciate the service and accountability. They asked for the chance to send me another light, which I agreed to.The new light arrived and was working until it seemed to die...again. This time, the blue charging lights wouldn't come on--instead, they would just flicker sometimes. Now that it was happening to my SECOND light, I began to wonder if it was something I was doing. So I decided to troubleshoot a little harder.I have two USB-C charging cords at my desk. One is fed by a 20W Apple charger with a USB-C base. My second light was attached to this but seemed to not be picking up any charge. However, I decided to plug the light into my other USB-C charger, which has a USB 2.0 base that is fed by my Dell monitor--not sure how many watts it gives off, but it should be less the Apple charger. Lo and behold, the light flicked on. It was now alive and charging again. I have USB-C chargers all over the house, so I didn't think to do this test with the first light.With this news, I ran into my garage, where I kept my first light that I thought was bricked. I brought it back into the house, plugged it into the 2.0 to C cord, and it turned on, as well. A total Christmas miracle.So now both lights are charged. I'm happy that I figured it out. I still think the product is wonderful and wish I could give five stars. However, this charging issue was tricky. Is it that it doesn't want to charge if there's too much power? Anyway, hope this review helps someone else.

Took this camping. These were super cute and really elevated our whole campsite.The battery lasted all night. Can be used coiled up just like a lantern but puts out a good amount of light when strands are out.What a great product! It has a few nice features like a handle to make coiling easy and a hook at the end for hanging.I need to find some clever way to hang the strings

I bought a two pack of these lights to light up the inside of a canopy tent for a vendor market that included evening hours. I strung them inside the top of the canopy and around the inside perimeter of the tent. I liked the way they looked, and they put off a good amount of light. It was a two-day market. Unfortunately, it started raining overnight and most of the next day. The market was a little over a month ago. I pulled my lights out last night to charge for another market for this weekend. One of the lights is not working and will not charge. I've tried multiple cords and different charging outlets. I was initially very happy with the lights, but now I'm disappointed that I only got to use one of the lights one time. It also left me scrambling and out more money to find a replacement on short notice.

I got this because I wanted something small and easy to pack for camping and it has been surprisingly useful. It is very lightweight, so it is easy to carry around or throw into a backpack. The way the string lights wind back inside the main light is clever and it only takes about half a minute to store them again.The lighting modes are fun to play with. The warm string lights give a cosy feel and the brighter settings are good for practical use when you need to see what you are doing. The RGB modes are just a bit of fun and the SOS mode is there if you ever need it. The string lights are long enough to wrap around a small awning or hang inside a tent.The magnet and hanging hook make it easy to place wherever you need it. It has worked fine in damp weather and the casing feels sturdy enough for outdoor use.The battery life depends on the mode, but it has lasted me through an evening without any trouble. The little indicator light is helpful because you can see how much charge is left. It does need the original cable to charge properly, which is worth keeping in mind.

I was fortunate enough to receive these OGERY Camping String Lights via the Amazon Vine Programme - Thank YouThey arrive boxed complete with charging cable and instructions. I call them ‘washing line light’ as the string lights reel into the waterproof plastic casing, (like a washing line) making it easy to store, compact and portable. The back of the casing has three magnetic buttons, centre torch light, the control button, usb charging port and battery indicator. This handy light can be used attached to metal, hung from the reel winder and used as a table light. Once the string lights are unreeled there are different options for lighting warm white, RGB flashing and breathing. As a compact light the lighting options consist of the same light options plus two white light dotted modes. The string lights look great in the garden and attaching them couldn’t be easier with the hooks at the start of the string and back of the casing. The battery lasts a good while. They are going to be ideal at our static caravan, as it will magnetically attach to the caravan and it will be great for camping holidays. This really is a versatile light which can be used indoors as well as outdoors and perfect for so many occasions. Excellent value for money and highly recommended.
