XL-B520D (BK) Tokyo Dab+ Hi-Fi Micro System, Compact Stereo Digital Radio with CD Player, Bluetooth 5.0, RDS, USB MP3 Playback, 2-Way Speakers & Remote Control, 40W – Black

The text in the advert is clear and accurate. The unit has features listed but its interface is quite dated. Its fine for a very small room but not much more. Overall it has quite a plastic, budget look and will not impress. The cases are supposed to be engineered wood i'm not sure there is any wood in them it feels like plastic....Dont expect the sound to blow your socks off - it wont! The EQ settings are also equally unimpressive. The CD drive on my unit is very noisy (i can hear the CD motor spin when the volume is low). Speaker and power leads are quite short (1.5meters) which place restrictions on placement of the units. It says 40W output power (i guess they mean 20W per channel). They dont say what they are measuring, or how they are measuring it - its likely Peak Music Power over a few milliseconds. I guess the RMS power is in the order of 5W or 6W per channel (continous). As an aside the power supply has a max output of 24W. And most designers would not drive the powersupply to its limits. So where they get the extra watts of power from remains a mystery I think this will be returned for the reasons outlined above.

Usually when a hifi feels light it's usually a bad sign eg bad quality bad functionality etc. well this light weight unit bucks that trend. I'm really surprised at how much it packs a punch for it's size. The remote control is a large affair and in my opinion that's a good thing - plenty of options and settings. It's good to see that and old school consumer brand is still making these units and it's actually from the brand, not just the name licenced off to a cheap manufacturer. A rare thing these days. When I seen the side of the DAB/FM antenna I thought that it would be useless as it's not very long, but to my surprise I got all the stations I usually do. The sound is great for it's size and it's great to see bass and treble adjustment and a loud button. I highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed

Een prachtig compacte set. Groot vermogen. Uitgebreide afstandsbediening. Perfect geluid.
