Item got here in lightning speed, fastest i ever seen. So that was excellent. Item brand new in original box. Only reason I gave it a 4 and not a 5, there is no power cord with it. And it's a special end that goes into charger with other end going to outlet. So ya, I really disappointed with that and with the cost of charger, one should get the power cord. But shipping , wow, fast!

Works as original, for a while, but understand the cord to mains power is not included. See updates.
Just like the original that came with my e-trike. Three notes: DHL shipping from Amazon Japan was fast, but expensive; since this part is sold all over the world, the mains power cord (that plugs in the wall) is different from country to country so it's a extra purchase and is not included with this item, lastly for this to last I recommend putting an external fan on it during long charging sessions to reduce its operating temperature, especially near the end of the charging cycle. Update: Failed after six months of only light weekly use. No way to troubleshoot that I can see, and no accessible alternatives since bike stores across the U.S. often have none in stock. Why the two-star review? Because in spite of the brand name on it, I've had three of them since I got my new bike just a few years ago. They simply have stopped working after a while with nothing to do but to reorder and wait and wait for a new one while your e-bike is of limited utility.

Contrary to what the description says, this charger works with AC input from 100 to 240V, so it is perfectly compatible with our AC lines.
