I always thought men’s health was pretty simple. Lift. Sleep. Eat enough protein… Maybe throw in a testosterone supplement once you get into your late 30s. That’s pretty much where my head was. I’d been taking the Nutricost Testosterone Complex for a while because… honestly… it’s Nutricost. I’ve bought enough of their stuff over the years that I don’t really overthink it anymore. Creatine, magnesium, vitamin D… they’ve always been one of those brands where I feel like I’m paying for the formula instead of somebody’s marketing budget. I wasn’t expecting miracles.I just wanted to feel a little more like myself again. And to be fair… I think it helped. Nothing crazy. Just a little more drive. A little less “I’ll do it tomorrow.” The funny thing is… that’s actually what sent me down the rabbit hole. Because I kept thinking…If this is helping… why do I still feel like something’s missing? It wasn’t libido. It wasn’t motivation. It was harder to put my finger on than that. I just never felt like my body was working with me. I’d eat well, train, take my supplements… and still have days where I just felt… off. Not sick. Not exhausted. Just… not firing on all cylinders. Not because I suddenly woke up with superhuman testosterone. Because I stopped feeling like my body was quietly fighting me every day. I felt lighter. Meals didn’t seem to linger forever. I wasn’t thinking about food all the time. My energy felt steadier. Training felt more consistent. Even my motivation felt… easier. That’s honestly the best way I can describe it. Everything felt easier. And I don’t necessarily think that’s because one product made the other stronger. I think it’s because I finally stopped trying to optimize one thing in isolation. The Nutricost product is still what I take when I think about supporting testosterone. MGS is what made me realize testosterone doesn’t exist in isolation from everything else going on in your body. Looking back, I think I was asking the wrong question. I kept asking, how do I support testosterone? The better question probably was, how do I build a body where everything, including testosterone, has a better chance of doing what it’s supposed to do?” That shift in thinking honestly changed my entire supplement routine.

I had blood work done showing I had absolutely no testosterone. I was noticing very painful muscle loss and opted to try this. I have now been on it for close to a year and have regained muscle tone and the pain has subsided. I have not changed much other. than adding this to my HRT routine and I find it very helpful. I take only one capsule in the evening since I am a very tiny woman and I function very well with that.

I took this supplement exactly as directed, but after finishing the bottle I noticed zero positive changes. Energy levels, focus, and performance all stayed the same, which makes me question the formula and dosage. What’s worse, I actually started experiencing headaches and mild stomach discomfort after a couple of weeks, which forced me to cut back. I expected a product like this to deliver at least some noticeable benefits, but instead it felt like wasted money and unnecessary side effects. For something marketed as support, it completely failed to live up to its claims.

Still going through the product but so far I 've noticed an increase in overall energy. Not bad for a guy that is 66 years old.
