Moultrie - Solar Panel Power Pack - 3.4W - Gen 2 Solar Panel with Battery for Trail Cameras - 7.2v, 3350mAh

These are worth the money. No lie here! Got these for my dad for Father’s Day and he uses them for his deer cameras and hasn’t stopped speaking about how much they work great. How much he loves them. The quality is good. Worth the price. Actually charges like it says.

I bought this for my 11yr old son, who was eating through my lithium batteries like crazy. One of the spots is limited sun but, a lot of activity. Not sure if him checking the app uses battery for the camera (it’s a cell one) but, he checks its NON STOP! We’ve had a lot of rain the last few weeks and his battery still shows 93%. I’m just a mom, my kid knows a lot more than I do about this kind of stuff but, it certainly has saved me money on the batteries and it was cheaper than the battery pack that I’ve gotten for his other cameras.

Bought two of these solar panels on Sept 21, 2024. They worked great for a while now they’ve both stopped working and will not take a charge. We’re currently running 8 moultrie Edge cameras and just bought two more so we’re very invested in Moultrie products. Love the cameras but disappointed in these solar panels. We have other brand solar panels on the other cameras and they are working just fine I’ve had these on the corded chargers for two days but they won’t charge. They should have lasted more than a year. Called Moultrie, they gave me a 50% off coupon on their website. I bought two of their 10 watt solar panel units. We will see how they do.

Easy to install, works great, functions properly, easy to mount.

Works great, second year of not having to replace batteries.

My experience with the Edge cameras is frustrating because of poor battery performance compared to other brands. I thought a solar panel would greatly increase the battery life - not much. This panel has much to be desired.

Battery charge on the 3.4w does not last during the winter in the mountains of Oregon. I put in direct line of the sun. However…functionally, they only lasted 9-12 days. Even when slightly overcast and still bright…. Did not charge. The entire reason I got these was to not have to drive out in the mountains and deep snow and snowshoe into where I had these. I missed out on who knows how many animals. That being said…. I do however like these for late spring to early fall use when we get lots of direct sun. You can also have these laying at camp and then plug into them and charge your phone. (If sunny) As for value for the money??? I would spend just a bit more money and get the 10w.

Keeps my Moultrie trail cams powered up year round. Even on days where it’s cloudy, these things hold up and keep my cameras charged.
