MAJORITY Little Shelford Portable DAB+ Radio with Bluetooth

What a fab little radio.It's called Little Shelford but there's nothing little about the sound that comes out of it, it's great a quality sounding compact radio.The buttons a easy enough to press and it's easy to tune in and to save preset stations. The booklet that comes with it is worth looking through though, the alarm was easy enough to set, as well as the Bluetooth paring, so in my opinion, the functions of this super little radio are easy enough to navigate, but like I said, worth a quick read of the booklet.It's not overly heavy, even with the batteries fitted, but still feels nice and sturdy.The power cable is a USB C with looks pretty strong.It also comes with a 3 year free warranty.I chose Black and it's got a nice gold ,almost rose gold look to it on top.Its a great looking radio, well worth the money, I'm extremely pleased with it and can recommend.

Delighted with this little radio. Had it tuned in, in no time. The sound is excellent, and I can get all my favourite stations. I bought the cream colour, and it looks lovely in my kitchen.

I bought this radio as a portable for the conservatory over the Summer. It has a lovely design and colour (duck-egg blue). And with DAB+, FM and Bluetooth, it provides a good range of sources for the money. I was under the misapprehension that it has a rechargeable battery inside, but it doesn't - the 15-hour battery playback is based on the use of 4 AA batteries. However, a mains plug is supplied. The radio is fairly easy to use with the help of the instruction-manual but like most modern devices with minimal controls, it isn't at all obvious or intuitive. All fairly good so far but the sound quality is another matter. The sound is pretty clear and not exactly tinny, but doesn't have much depth and is a bit harsh for my liking. And the radio has no way of of altering its tonal balance (a major design flow, in my opinion). I suppose it has a sound that is typical of a small radio, but I have similarly sized radios made by Le Mega that sound much better. So, unfortunately I don't think I can live with the sound quality of this radio and it may end up at the charity shop. It's a shame, as it is otherwise very good value for money.And a note about the Amazon delivery... I saw the van outside my house but nobody came to my door. This didn't surprise me as Amazon drivers seldom knock on the door these days and just leave the packages outside. I then got a message that the package had been left behind a wheelie bin... but it wasn't behind my bin or next-door's. I then got a photo of the package behind next-door's fence. I looked and the driver had obviously dropped it over their gate. Just not good enough Amazon!

Very pleased with my new kitchen radio. The sound quality is very good, using for radio 4. Very compact, easy to use and the right price.😀

Really happy with this little radio! The sound quality is great and it picks up all the radio stations easily. The Bluetooth works really well too, so it’s great for playing my own music or listening to podcasts. Really pleased with it!

Very pleased with purchase, DAB radio was easy to set up it has a lot of radio stations to select from and is easy to select my favorite stations and store them in the preset channels. The radio itself looks great very stylish and the sound quality is very good 👍

This radio is very Fantastic Because my mum had the same radio She always sits on her bed and listen to the radio.\ But\ My mum passed away, so she gave me the radio.\ It brings back memories I played the radio every time.The sound quality is amazing and the battery life is really fantastic And the\ Controls are Easy. It's a lovely looking radio, good size and the sound quality is decent. Not amazing but good enough. We mostly use it for Radio 4 and speech sounds fine. Good price too!However, it does have a couple of strange quirks we haven't been able to fix yet...1- The alarm function is good. You can set it to come on weekdays only which is what we wanted. You can set the station you want to wake you up and the volume level. Lovely. Here's the problem- initially, the volume I set it to was really loud (volume level 8) so I cycled through the alarm functions and altered it to come on a bit quieter (volume level 4). That worked fine. We then decided volume level 3 would be perfect so I cycled through the alarm settings again, set it to volume level 3 aaaand..... it comes on at level 4. It just won't change to volume level 3. Weird.It's also impossible to adjust the volume when it's in alarm mode. ie: if the alarm comes on and starts playing the radio, you can't reach over and turn it up or down! It's like it's programmed and that's that! You have to turn it off and on again in order to adjust the volume. Weird!2- This is a really weird one! We have programmed the radio to switch on at 7am and play BBC Radio 4 throughout the week. When it gets to 9 O'clock and they play the bleeps for the news, it sends the sound into a wobbly! Hard to explain but it sounds like a corrupted sound file or like it's gone out of tune. A wobbly digital noise. The only fix is to turn it off and on again. But the bizarre thing is that it happens every single day at exactly the same time. 9am. News bleeps. Not 8am. 9am. So weird!If it weren't for those two things, I'd have no problem with it and would definitely recommend it. But, as it stands, I wouldn't. The weekday alarm was the function we wanted and it doesn't quite work! Luckily there's a 3 year warranty (which you can only access if you leave a review!) so I'll enquire and see if it can be fixed.

Très belle radio, par contre rien d'écrit en français, dommage, même pas le manuel d'utilisation, il faut le télécharger.Et ils disent être des Royaumes Unis, mais le colis vient de Hong Kong...Le colis est arrivé sans emballage en plus

Wirklich schönes Radio mit ordentlicher Klangqualität. Der Empfang ist auch fein.

Attention la notice fournie avec le produit n'est quand anglais et allemand. Décevant car ils disent que la notice est aussi en français. Les piles s'usent très vite. C'est difficile de mettre une ondées DAB+. D'autres radios sont à voir et rédigé en français.

I tested it using my son's unit, which he has owned for about three years. It works flawlessly, delivers great sound, and has a vintage look. I take it with me everywhere—into the kitchen while cooking, out on the terrace in the evening or while working in the garden. It is very practical and user-friendly. I recommend buying it.L-am testat la fiul meu, care il are de circa 3 ani. Functioneaza impecabil, sunet foarte bun, aspect vintage. Il iau cu mine peste tot, in bucatarie cand gatesc, seara pe terasa sau cand lucrez in gradina. E foarte practic si prietenos. Recomand sa-l cumparati.
